If Black can have his "Movies You've Seen" thread.........I propose a movies you haven't seen, and proud to say you havent....

I'll start.

The Hobbit.......Are you kidding me?
Any of the Lord of the Rings....See above.
Any of the Batmans....I like going to a movie without being shot at. Too soon?
Any of the Spidermans....
The Avengers, Ironman (no offense Ironman8).........
.........
.........
.........

When Hollywood decides to put out something good, they'll get my money.... Superhero movies and stories about hobbits and ferries ain't gonna get it.

-Titanic
-All musicals after the age of about 5. I despise musicals.
-Forrest Gump (I'm sure it's a great movie, but it lost Best Picture to Pulp Fiction-- the greatest movie of all time, IMO, because Washington had just started a crusade against "violence" in movies)
-Any and all Harry Potter crap

Crap.... I forgot Harry Potter. I feel like I'm a better man for having not gotten involved in that stupidity.

There's a great movie out there about the Staten Island Ferry – I can't remember the name right now. Then there's the retrospective of those raucous, rambunctious romping members of Gerry and the Pacemakers titled "Ferry Cross the Mersey." Oh, and what about "The Ferry Over the River Kwai?"

"Shoot to Kill" had a ferry scene in it. Back before Kirstie Alley was fat and Tom Berenger wasn't basically relegated to the B-List. And I once rode a ferry to get to Alcatraz.

Johnnykillz once rode a ferry in San Francisco too, but it had nothing to do with getting to Alcatraz.

That movie came out when I was in 8th grade and my girlfriend at the time wanted to see it. Wasn't a bad time for me... movie was gay but it had a nice titty scene and I got an old fashion afterwards.

I have never seen:

-Titanic
-Any James Bond movie
-Any Harry Potter movie

And most importantly, never the show "Sex in the City" or "Friends," not a damn one.

I'm a sucker for slapstick comedies from the 80's, so I'd like to point out there is a ferry scene at the beginning of "One Crazy Summer."

Speaking of Bobcat Goldwaith, you guys must see GOD BLESS AMERICA. It is pretty much an hour and a half tirade against crappy movies, tv shows, and the morons who watch them. Good stuff.

Rocky V was probably the worst of the Rocky saga. Rocky Balboa was a lot different than the other Rocky's, but I liked it.

Generally speaking, I don't dig Jim Carrey. But I really like the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with him.

One Crazy Summer and Better Off Dead are two of the best stupid funny movies ever!

But don't be hatin' on my man Jimmy Bond!

I don't hate the character James Bond, just never had any urge to watch them or the Bourne Identity movies, etc. Not big into spy thrillers, action-espionage, etc.

Have never seen Divine Secrets of the Yaya Sisterhood, or You Got Served. Safe to say they are both on my bucket list.

I never got all the hate for "Rocky 5." I know it is flawed and cheesy and Tommy Morrison did an atrocious acting job but I think it's decent. I like how it brought the saga full circle, back around to where Rocky started. And the street brawl at the end is great.

I know I'm touching the third rail here, but I've never seen "Rudy." When I saw the previews when it first came out, I thought it looked puke-inducingly schmaltzy. And now that I've heard about what a self-aggrandizing prick the real Rudy is, I have even less desire to watch it.

Rocky V was easily the worst Rocky movie ever. That being said I'm with you that it wasn't a horrible movie.

Also Rocky Balboa was fantastic. At one point I jumped out of my seat at the theatre.

I generally despise everything Jim Carrey and think it's silly to the point of just being stupid, but Yes Man was pretty good. The "Tilley" scene was hilarious.

Some of you guys sound about as much fun as a anesthetic-free vasectomy.

Never seen Steel Magnolias, Dying Young, Beaches or any other chick-flick trype made solely to cause women to cry. I did, however, sit through Titanic as it at least had historical and Victorian era aspects that I do find appealing. Not so much the movies storyline, however. Truly dumb.
