I have made a forum the last two years about this. For those who don't know what this is, Fanspeak makes a pretty fun/entertaining NFL draft game.

Here are the instructions:
1.) Pick your team(s).
2.) Pick the amount of rounds you want to draft.
3.) Pick which big board you want to pick from. (There are quite a few to choose from)
4.) Draft the players that you think will help your team make the Super Bowl.

There is still about a month and a half before the NFL Draft, but I wanted to post this after the combine because people are getting a better idea of where the players are going to get drafted.

So, draft for your team (I would do at least 4 rounds) and post who you drafted so we can compliment/criticize your draft decisions. Happy drafting :)

Thanks for getting this posted again!

I took part with the Bengals, full 7-round draft.

R1P9 - EDGE - SOLOMON THOMAS - STANFORD
R2P9 - DL MALIK MCDOWELL - MICHIGAN STATE
R3P9 - LB - DUKE RILEY - LSU
R4P9 - G - DANNY ISIDORA - MIAMI (FLA.)
R4P31 - WR - DEDE WESTBROOK - OKLAHOMA
R5P9 - G - ZACH BANNER - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
R5P32 - RB - T.J. LOGAN - NORTH CAROLINA
R6P9 - S - DELANO HILL - MICHIGAN
R6P33 - QB - CHAD KELLY - OLE MISS
R7P9 - K - JAKE ELLIOTT - MEMPHIS
R7P33 - OT - COLE CROSTON - IOWA

I didn't want to go Def-Def-Def to start, as the Bengals need help on the interior OL and at LB before they need two DL, but hitting on Thomas as an edge player and being able to add Malik McDowell to play alongside Geno Atkins was too good to pass up.

I liked Riley at LB, as he fits the MLB mold the Bengals need, and his weaknesses will get covered by playing next to Burfict.

Isidora is good value in the fourth round, and probably improves the interior OL right away.

I was REALLY jacked up to get Westbrook in the 4th. Adds homerun threat opposite AJ Green, just like Marvin Jones used to be. Also allows Tyler Boyd to go into the slot full time, where he's best, and keeps LaFell available to spell either outside receiver as needed.

Banner after that in Rd 5 was more huge value as long as he can cross-train and take over at C. If not, flip-flop that plan with Isadora. Either way, the interior OL gets another boost, and it allows Andre Smith to play RT if he signs. Then they can pick the better out of Obueghi and Fisher to start at LT.

Logan and Hill are picks I was thrilled with. Logan provides immediate help at RB if Bernard isn't healthy. Hill is a guy that AT WORST is a special teamer for a few years, but he's got the potential to be a starting NFL safety.

Chad Kelly late allows the Bengals to shop AJ McCarron for future picks, or immediate help at LB, for any team that didn't like their draft at QB.

Elliot solves the kicking issues, and Croston is a flier to backup either of the two underwhelming starters at OT. Best case, you hit the jackpot with a dependable Iowa OL product that can steal a starting job. Worst case, you have a depth player that can run block if forced into action.

Not that I know what the hell I'm doing, but I drafted the first four rounds for the Colts. Used Fanspeak's bigboard for it. Don't think you can say picking up Allen at pick 15 is bad. Or realistic. I also thought Lewis being available in round 3 was absurd as well. The last 3 were all about finding who I thought were the best remaining quality players that would fit within what the team needs. I think Rochell can be great in the league as he's already a really great run defender (I expect him to be moved inside), Hood takes care of a need and has the size and strength to get a lot of tough yards necessary for the Colts, and Pocic being 6'6" with the athleticism to swing to almost any spot on the OL made him an easy pick up.

I'll go ahead and do this once Bellichick locks down the Saints #11 overall pick and then trades that down to get something in the high 20s plus two second rounders.

I like it. I don't think Pace will take Mixon especially after Ray McDonald blew up in his face immediately in 2015.

I only did a 2 rounder, Solomon Thomas, and Mitch Trubisky (he fell to Rd 2, I felt compelled to take him).

I drafted the first 5 rounds for the Steelers...

Round 1, Pick 30: Michigan LB/SS Jabrill Peppers

Pittsburgh still has yet to find a permanent replacement for the great, future HOF Troy Polamalu. Peppers, I believe, only had one career interception at Michigan; that does not take away his ability to play both the run and the pass well. He is also a dangerous weapon on special teams. I know that Pittsburgh has two good safeties in Mike Mitchell and Sean Davis, but Mitchell won't be there forever (2 more years, maybe). Jabrill Peppers paired with Sean Davis would give Pittsburgh two young, physical, and talented safeties. I also considered Obi Melifonwu (safety from UCONN) with this pick.

Round 2, Pick 62: USC CB Adoree' Jackson

Pittsburgh's inability, or unwillingness, to play press man is probably the biggest reason why they cannot beat New England on a relatively consistent basis. When you play 5-7 yards off the ball, Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and that dink n' dunk offense will kill you every time. With Adoree' Jackson's olympic speed, that will hopefully allow them to play press man. Put Jackson in the slot and lets see if that will help them shut down the shifty slot receivers that thrive on those short passes. Also, this would give Pittsburgh two GREAT potential kick/punt returners in the draft.

Round 3, Pick 94: Youngstown State OLB/Edge Rusher Derek Rivers

The great thing about this draft is that there are a lot of really good pass rushers in it. Taking a pass rusher in the first or second round was tempting but I knew that I could wait until the third. Pittsburgh's best pass rusher last year was 38 year old James Harrison. They have another good pass rusher in Bud Dupree but he didn't play until the second half of the season due to injury. Derek Rivers, all 6'4" and 250 pounds of him, is NFL game ready right now. He had 14 sacks as a senior, so he definitely doesn't have a problem getting to the QB. He won't be a day 1 starter but he is a promising backup to James Harrison in 2017. He should slide into that starting role in 2018 and give Pittsburgh a great OLB duo in Dupree and Rivers.

Round 3, Pick 105: Clemson TE Jordan Leggett

Heath Miller is the greatest tight end in Steelers' history and he, unexpectedly, retired before the 2016 season. Pittsburgh signed Ladarius Green, hoping he could replace Miller. Unfortunately, Green's first season with Pittsburgh was plagued with an ankle injury and a concussion that kept him out of the playoffs. Second year tight end Jesse James was pretty decent last year but he still needs to show more. Jordan Leggett is a great receiver and would be another weapon for Big Ben. Pittsburgh will have Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant at wide receiver, if they can add a tight end that is a great receiver and can stay healthy then that offense will be even tougher to stop.

Round 4, Pick 135: Virginia Tech WR Isaiah Ford

I was in a debate with myself on whether I should go running back or wide receiver with this pick. I decided to go receiver for a couple reasons; Pittsburgh needs to replace Markus Wheaton and who knows if Martavis Bryant will be with the team after 2017. Isaiah Ford gives the Pittsburgh group of receiver some needed size and he can learn from Antonio Brown. I thought about going with a slot receiver like Ryan Switzer or someone like DeeDee Westbrook, but I wanted size and Eli Rogers showed a lot of promise in the slot last year for Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh and GM Kevin Colbert is notorious for finding great offensive talent in the later rounds and I would be very confident that they found another gem if they went with Ford.

Round 5, Pick 173: Pittsburgh RB James Connor

Pittsburgh needs a backup running back for LeVeon Bell. DeAngelo Williams was great but he was the oldest running back in the NFL last year. They tend to draft the bigger running backs and Connor definitely isn't a small guy. Also, we cannot forget that he is a cancer survivor and is one of the best stories in this year's draft. He played his college career at Heinz Field so it would only be right if he played his NFL career there too.

The only reason I'm skeptical about taking Adams at 3 is I'm not sure that a SS has the value of a top 5 pick.

If he turned out to have a Polamalou, Eric Berry or Cam Chancellor effect on a team then you wouldn't consider that top 3 pick value?

I think the signing of Glennon hopefully means that they see that there is simply isn't a lot of QB talent in this draft. No reason to use a valuable 2nd round pick on a complete flyer like Mahomes. Draft someone late if you have to draft a flyer.

On Mixon, while what he did was terrible, he wasn't a serial trouble maker in his life. He kept his nose clean outside of that one event and is probably the best RB in the draft. Furthermore, he can run the entire route tree. I would be totally comfortable with them grabbing him.

If the Browns were to trade out of 1, the only way I'd be okay with that is if ends with us getting more picks AND either Adams or Hooker... Safety is currently our single biggest position of need (yes, more than even QB) and those two seem as can't miss as you can get at that position.

Kam is probably a good comparison and he'd be worth the #3, but I like to load up in the trenches with the very top picks.

To each their own. The only position I would covet more for a top pick is quarterback. Other than that, I want the best possible player.

Oh I agree on this point. To me it's just a function of great player impacting the game the most. Obviously a QB has the biggest impact, but I think the trenches are next and although I don't see Adams busting per se, there's no guarantee that he'll be an All Pro, even if he has insane leadership. I'm slowly talking myself into him, but I think that a Pro Bowl DE is more valuable than a Pro Bowl SS. Either way, it looks like things are finally shaking free for da Bears to pick an impact defensive player and bring back some Monsters to the Midway

Redone Bengals with different rankings being used in the sim.

1 (9): Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama
2 (41): Budda Baker, S, Washington
3 (73): Dan Feeney, G, Indiana
4 (116): Tyus Bowser, Edge, Houston
4 (138): Ethan Pocic, C, LSU
5 (153): KD Cannon, WR, Baylor
5 (176): DeAngelo Brown, DL, Louisville
6 (193): Justin Davis, RB, USC
6 (217): Josh Carraway, Edge, TCU
7 (227): Ben Boulware, LB, Clemson
7 (251): James Onwualu, Edge, ND

All of the defensive front 7!!!

Baker and Foster start immediately and improve the defense.

Feeney starts at guard for the departed Zeitler. Pocic takes Bodine's job at center. The line still sucks, but not as bad as it would with Bodine still starting. This also allows Andre Smith to play RT if he's healthy.

Bowser and Carraway can rush the passer from the edges on 3rd down, allowing Dunlap to slide inside next to Geno Atkins. Brown is drafted to play 2 downs, replacing Domata Peko.

Cannon is a deep threat that spells LaFell. Davis backs up Hill (or takes his job).

I like Boulware and Onwualu late, as Boulware can be a 2-down LB alongside Burfict and Foster, and can leave the field on third down in place of James Onwualu, who can rush or drop into a zone (if Vinny Rey isn't back/healthy).
