If Loy is giving a specific timeline for the mystery commitment there would have to be a precipitating event (otherwise it would be a more nebulous "soon").

The event would almost certainly be a visit but he's not reporting a visit so...

Loy is most likely to report it this way if ND is getting a visit which he's not going to make public. Crawford fits that bill nicely.

I would be stoked if this went down.

Players have flipped schools before without a decommitment, no? Crawford seems really quiet, so IDK if he'd do that, but I see it as no difference. The first school is going to be upset whether they decommit then commit elsewhere later, or straight up swap commitments.

idk but he hasn't been very consistent on following his rule for the top tier guys..i recall an offensive lineman that had visited bama and didn't have his offer pulled..or maybe it was a dlineman...but it iwas one of them

yep David Dawson, OL, was committed, wanted to visit UF. i think his offer was pulled by SCUM, visited UF and then was reoffered and recommitted to SCUM
