I was impressed with Nolan. He asked all of the questions that fans have been talking about. He asked them in a non-confrontational manner, but he made Swarbrick either answer the question or dodge it.

Agree, I thought Nolan did an excellent interview. Almost like he's been reading this thread the last few days actually.

Even if kelly gets to 10 and 2, I never see him winning the title. This isn't about possibly being good, it's about having a program that demands excellence and it clearly does not.

On top of that, I believe kelly was looking, but nobody wanted his ass. Say by some grace they do go 10 and 2 and it prompts some attention from other schools....you think he stays if he gets the chance to jump ship? I don't.

To me there is zero upside to keeping kelly and he is more likely gone after next year anyway, win or lose. Since I believe that, I see no reason to delay the inevitable.

This was the first season that I can recall that I didn't watch every game. Kelly took the fun out of being a nd fan and I won't ever forgive him for that. At least with Weis I knew his heart was in the right place. Kelly is...well....yea.

Frankly, I'd be ready to cut ties if he doesn't win a major bowl game...heck, how about look competitive in one. That's where we're at under Kelly. Like BVG going into 2016, it's put up or shut up time.

We can only hope this ends a lot better than it did with him.

Jack said the things he had to say at the time of the interview imo. If there were things going on behind the scenes currently there really isn't much he can say other than business as usual. The dominoes will fall next week after the championship games if anything happens at all.
