For those who like using sub-par firearms like the FAL in COD:MW2, bots are the appropriate level of competition.

You do a lot of splitscreen co-op with the family, Acamp? If so, I have some titles I could suggest, but unfortunately a lot are PS3 titles. Getting harder and harder to find splitscreen anything these days, so many games just resort to online for multiplayer.
Thanks ND, I'm basically trying to find out if my wife and kids (and friends when they come over) can play in the same room together and if so, can we play against multiple bots just like an online mode would look but completely offline (old school).
IThe doesn't appear to allow that...on PC anyway. I don't think bf4 supported splitscreen on Xbox though either
Do PC games ever have that?
Anyway, thx a bunch for looking ND
Anyone play the beta of COD IW and BF?

A podcast i listened to yesterdat said that the COD beta is in absolute horrible shape in regards to running well on there servers. They said the gameplay is just as janky and messed up as last years. The map design is bad and its because everything has to be layed out so you can wall run every damn surface. So for me, this just proves what I already have known for 2-3 years or so. COD is dead. Its this cracked out, ludicrous speed shooter, that 14 year old kids love. COD has completely lost its original fan base, and the podcast was talking about how the number of youtube and twitch broadcasts of COD have dropped because last years game was so bad, and no one is excited for this years.
So Titanfall 2 wasn't even on my radar, as I haven't seen much about it, and I thought the first one was 100% underwhelming after the initial thrill of piloting a Titan for the first time. The multiplayer lacked any semblance of a progression system, and I thought the combat was clunky. I've always been pretty good at FPS online against other players, but I felt that Titanfall was unreliable in responding to my input, and I often got frustrated at some of the lack of kills and deaths I experienced.
However, after doing some research and reading up on the campaign for Titanfall 2, I'm slightly intrigued. Might be a Black Friday purchase if the deal is right. The campaign sounds unique-ish, and the multiplayer is bringing in some new modes and a progression system.
Will it have off line, split screen, multiplayer...??
No, but I did hear that it would have an A/V connection that allows you to plug-and-play Pong on Atari.

Baron Samedi, Archive, Pistols Only, License to Kill.
Agent Under Fire... such great maps in that one.
I liked the castle one and the docks one
Does anyone do the PC gaming? I was seriously considering a PC system last year and held off. Now I have enough of a business need that I can justify building a system.
The new(ish) 8gb GPUs make it far more palatable. I've never wandered into the PC gaming world outside of when I was really young and Doom/Mist were first released. I remember replacing my video card at one point, that was really it.
