That's one of the things I'll be watching in Microsoft's Play Anywhere initiative. Cross-platform multiplayer will probably work fine in something like Forza Horizon 3, but it sounds much more dubious for something like Gears of War 4.

Point and click shooting may be easier.... But it's easier for the bad guys too. Smart players understand that.

Not sure if insult or not...


I'm not really concerned with "other players" having it easier. For my preferences, if I'm playing a shooter, I don't want to be able to simply point-and-click. That takes the challenge of mastering the controls away for me.

Got my PS4 hooked up via ethernet cable now (instead of wireless). Purchased 3 months of PS Plus via Amazon. Purchased Overwatch and downloaded it last night. Only had time to do a couple training runs with S76 and Tracer, since nothing else was available during installation.

Default controller sensitivity felt atrociously slow for Tracer. What settings do you guys play on?

If you can stand it, it might be worth setting a different sensitivity for various heroes. What works for Tracer might leave you terribly inaccurate with Widowmaker.

Runs like a dream on X1. 360 always had some framerate issues but this is one of the best done backwards compatibility jobs I've seen.

I mean I have no idea about the individual quality of that particular model, but Samsung is generally a good maker and that's a really good price for a TV with that inch/resolution. Curved is ok. Some people say that it is much more immersive. I don't really get that feeling when I've sat in front of one but I don't dislike it. It doesn't have much of an effect on me. That said, most curved models are more expensive so yeah I'd say this is a pretty great deal.

I didn't bite on the TV as the reviews were not great but I went ahead and bought the XBOX bundle and an Amazon Echo ($129).

I am not really an Xbox guy but a 500GB console, Halo Guardians, Forza Horizon 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, 2 controllers AND a $50 Amazon gift card is just a ridiculously good deal for $279.00. I mean wow.

I have been wanting to get an Echo for awhile now and the $50 discount sold it for me.

Plus, the Prime membership was free for 30 days and I will get all this shit by Thursday haha.

You're going to want to keep that Prime membership to make the most of your Echo.

Thinking of buying the Xbox bundle for resale alone.

Waiting for 11:55am to see how cheap SW: Battlefront is for PS4.

The deals on individual games that are up right now aren't that great, but I'm holding out hope that Battlefront gets a sweet deal.

You mean for Prime Music? I already have Spotify Premium so not sure why else I would need it?
