I get its impact and popularity, but it's never been among my fav Zep songs... I like many others more, but that's just me...

In my younger, more rebellious years I would have told you it was the most overrated song of all time.

Now I have it in my top 10-15. It has really grown on me, especially listening to it on vinyl.

Its not in even in my top 5 Zeppelin songs.

In no order:

- Tangerine
- All of my love
- Fool in the rain
- Dy'er Maker
- Going to California

Cool tunes....just to name a few more great Zeppelin tunes:

The Wanton Song
The Rover
For Your Life (quintessential Zep tune with Odd time signatures)
The Ocean (parts of the song are in 5/4 time)
Achilles Last Stand (perhaps the most progressive Zep song)
Nobody's Fault but Mine
Ten Years Gone

Zep has alot of songs that are really good, Over the Hills and Far Away is another good one that comes to mind....

It's not in my Top 5 [favorite] either but I recognize it as the #1 song of all time.

Alabama's not in my Top 5 [favorite] programs but.... you follow me?

Off the top of my head... (can't wait to hear what I left off)

1. Stairway to Heavan

2. Hotel California

3. Hey Jude

4. Born to Run

5. Gimme Shelter

6. All Along the Watchtower

7. Wish You Were Here

8. Layla

9. Bohemian Rhapsody

10. Freebird

I would replace Wish You Were Here, Freebird, and Layla with (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, Let it Be, and Like a Rolling Stone and I think you probably have the right 10 songs.

I hope you scored a growler of Trailer Park Brewing's Aqua Net Blonde to go with that selection.

Does anyone have a good Android app that'll do gapless album playback? I have several albums (Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper, The Concert in Central Park, The Black Parade, etc.) that really require it and I get triggered every time there's blank space in the Abbey Road B-side medley.

I just use the regular "Music" app on my Galaxy S6, and there is an option in the settings for "Skip Silences" that should eliminate gaps between tracks.

There is a barely-noticeable hitch between some tracks that are supposed to run together, but you really have to be listening to catch it. Some are also seamless. I think it depends on how well the digital tracks were converted for those albums that are supposed to run together.
