I used love CW but last time I had it it tasted like cough syrup to me... Idk if my pallet changed or I had a bad batch,... Used to be a winter go to.

Today I'm having a few Angry Orchards...

Agreed, I'm really enjoying this because it's delicious but it's so rich I can't imagine wanting more by the time I get through the six pack. Cheers.
Is that one in a variety pack right now or just by itself? It's a little sweet for me to go through 6. I just started on the harvest pack last night.

4 Harvest Saison
4 Oktoberfest
2 Harvest Pumpkin Ale
2 Boston Lager

Do you have a favorite Angry Orchard? They all taste like candy to be, especially the Cinnful Cinnamon or whatever it's called. I prefer Woodchuck.

Not sure about its placement in variety packs but I got a six pack because I felt like a fruit beer but it's too damn hot in Georgia to think about drinking anything pumpkin.

Making a New York Strip tonight and wanting a (cheap but good) red wine to go with it. Any suggestions from anyone? Since it's a steak I'd prefer peppery.

How's the selection in Alaska? I would imagine it's difficult to get a lot of craft brews to ship up there.

Its harder to find them at the liquor store thats everywhere up here. But there's a huge local mom & pop type place that carries a decent selection. Only problem is that its in Anchorage which is about a 45-60 minute drive for me.

Welcome to spending the rest of your days questing for something comparable and constantly being disappointed.

Going to be in SB for the UNC game. Anyone have any stores around campus that are sure to have Zombie Dust and Gumballhead?

Picked up a bomber of St. Bernardus Abt 12 from Whole Foods, and was supremely disappointed to find that this bottle is off. Just like last one I got from this same WF :sigh:.

Not sure how to describe it... just an underlying funkiness that ruins what's supposed to be a sublimely excellent beer. I assume this is what happens when a Quad gets light stricken.

Makes me appreciate Unibroue even more. I can't recall ever getting a bad bottle from them, and their prices are very reasonable compared to most Belgian imports.

Brothers had each on tap this past week. Gumball head was one of the beers they had on their special 3 dollar night. Zombie dust was $6.50 for a pint and totally worth it

Shorts brewing Woweezowee and traveler Jack O'Shandy. Probably the best pumpkin ale I've had.
