I'm not arguing that he didn't want to be here, but your logic isn't really sound. Armstead was cleared to play by doctors too, but he wasn't going to be cleared to play by ND's doctors.

Neither of us know anything about his medical condition to determine whether or not he actually had a serious problem. But I think it's pretty reasonable to read between the lines here. He wanted to play for another school and didn't want to sit out a year to do so

Yeah, I just posted this too (righteous thoughts thread). I'm so disappointed. I had such high hopes for this kid. Unfortunately, I have a feeling this is going to be more common with these talented athletes given everything they are. They are part of the entitled generation. It makes me sick that that young kids simply think that they are entitled everything without having to work for it.
