Apparently USC is in line to get a transfer from Texas Tech for the DL that was a high four star recruit. I really wonder if Kiffin is tampering this is the third player in 2 weeks I've heard of getting pulled to USC from another school.

Friend of Damien Mama, cousin of USC commit Austin Maloata and one of the top OGs in the country Viane Talamaivao just committed to Alabama two days after he got the USC offer he should have gotten a long time ago, they were his childhood favorites

There is a LOT of drama around this supposed committment. First, it got leaked. Then his h.s. coach denied it. Then a reporter got Viame on the phone and got it confirmed. Now there are rumors that his phone was stolen and it wasn't Viame on the phone.

The USC Rivals guy called Viame to Bama a while ago, and is also saying that Viame is a 'strange bird' that could be just playing games with everyone. IF that's true, I hope he does go to USC (despite his talent) or even Bama (screw them too LOL); these guys flame out more often than they pan out (Chris Martin was the biggest clown/jokester I've ever seen in recruiting).

Also, FWIW, USC needs tackles more than guards and they are VERY confident that they'll get their #1 guard prospect, Damien Mama.

Damien Mama is such a great prospect. Really one of my overall favorites. Huge upside.

Yeah, we throw out 'beast' way too often IMO, but this kid is a straight beast in every sense of the word. Unfortunately, he goes to the same h.s. as another OL that committed to last year's USC class, and he's been to USC a ton, including several spring practices this past spring. Not hearing ND too much (yet).

If USC implodes this year though, anything can happen.

Mama is cousins with Luatua and IIRC could be visiting with him for the USC game. I'm not throwing in the towel yet.

Mama pretty much said the only reason he isn't committed to USC is he doesn't want to look like Nico Falah did and waver torwards the end. I don't usually throw this around but I wouldn't be suprised if he is or will at sometime be a silent commit to USC.

Yep. Praying for his speedy recovery. Never want to see any of these kids get a severe injury, no matter for whom they may play.

Ha. What is even the point of that? Lane has as good of a chance of being the USC coach in 2017 as I do.
