Redd is still unsure what he wants to do, Flying to LA today and said he will have a decision by Monday. Family is not in agreement on what is best for him. Dad wants him to go try and win a title, mom wants him to stay so he is closer to home.

Just a warning for those already flipping out over USC's class...per their rivals board, they're gonna get a couple more huge surprises in the next week, and for members to 'get their calculators ready", meaning it sounds like they'll either be over the scholly limit or they'll break the record for highest star average (both are plausible). The staff didn't want to ruin the kids' moments by saying names, but it'll come out shortly.

So I'm confused, aside from any Penn State transfers, isn't USC full up for this class? They are now at 18 and that's what I thought their limit was? Either way they put together an amazing class and I ain't gonna hate. It will just be sweeter when we start getting a winning streak on this loaded team!

18 is their limit but two players may get their scholarships dropped

Rodgers seems unable to qualify

Will Ferrell (or you can substitute any of the famous fans) will give some of the lesser needed players a "leadership" scholly, that way they can give up their athletic one.

Wait, no they wouldn't. That would be an NCAA violation and we all know that usc and their fans wouldnt cheat.

So this is how I understand it, if anybody from last year or this year lose their scholarship that opens up a spot for another. So if Rogers doesn't qualify that is one and if Massington gets forced out that is another, allowing them to sign two more. I don't think anyone from years prior will help with 2013 recruits because the sanction was only sign 15 a year for three years and that started last year. It gets complicated with the PSU situation and Redd because I have read in some places that a transfer from PSU would count against their 2012 class, though I don't know if that is part of the 15 a year limit. So he could either take one of those potential two spots or he could take the spot of a walk on that had earned a scholarship. They could also potentially free up one additional spot if Jordan Simmons from last year that NDinLA said has a serious injury also loses his scholarship.
