Lottery Results are available...got Michigan State and USC!!

https://ticketlottery.nd.edu/

I will give you all my vbucks for a chance at the USC tickets. :)

Since I am a little naive, how did you get to be part of this lottery? I am kicking my self in the arse right now. I would love to go to the USC game this year for my 30th bday. Been trying to call in favors with friends and family. Hoping to land a few tickets.

You have to be an alum and donate a small amount of money OR donate a large amount of money to be a 'special contributor' if you're not an alum.

It always cracks me up when my friend at USC just "signs up" for tickets... and how freaking inexpensive they are compared to the donations my family and I make to just be part of a lottery lol

I was in it as an alum. This page has info on how to become eligible for the lottery.

Football Ticket Lottery FAQs // Supporting ND // University of Notre Dame

BTW, I'm not supposed to be selling the tickets, but they could be had at the right price...;)

EDIT: Thanks Lax for the info

When I read about how to join the lottery as a non-alum, it required around a $1500 donation. That of course was with just a small bit of research on it.

Hope that helps and congrats to those who won! I will be going to the Navy game. It will be my first game EVER! Had to find my own way for tickets.

1500 doesnt seem that bad of a fee/donation, considering the tax write off and ND tickets.

Pretty sure you still have to pay for the tickets that you "win" in the lottery, right? When you get a game in the lottery I think you are just getting the right to buy a ticket. Anybody more familiar with the process that can confirm or correct that?

So what is the process for having season tickets to all the home games? I only ask because I've had a set of four tickets passed down to me through the family a few years ago and I've always wondered how other people obtained a full slate of tickets... an even bigger donation perhaps? Or is there some kind of waiting list?

Prior to about 1960, season tickets were available per request. since then, nada.
Apparently the secret to perpetual life is to be an ND season ticket holder, as they seem to never die.
If you put in for all ND home games in the lottery, you have a chance of winning all the games. However, you might get none.

I've kinda given up on the lottery. I'm only 23 years old, but since my Grandparents are season ticket holders and I moved out of the area, I can still get to one or two games a year.

You can put the tickets in a relative's name though, so even if the person who is actually getting the tickets dies the tickets stay in your family. That's how my family has hung on to them for 35+ years and I'm sure all other season ticket holders do this as well.

Just found my number and checked mine.... no USC. Grumble. At least my Dad got sick tickets so I can (hopefully) get one of those.

Got pretty ****** tickets to USF and Michigan State as well. Lower bowl but high up and in the corner of the endzone behind the band. Oh well.

If you are not happy with those MSU seats I would love to take them. For a price od course. :)

I'd be glad, for a donation of course, to take tickets from anyone not desiring them.

Got Air Force tickets. High in the lower bowl, and down near the visiting fans. Would rather be closer to the student section, but at least we're in the stadium. It'll be a 6 hour flight, followed by a two hour drive from O'Hare, and worth every minute of it.
