White Castles are the bomb. Love 'em.

Since I moved to SW Missouri and no close White Castles I can only get the frozen ones from the grocery store...they are not good microwaved. But, when I go home I find a reason to stop by and chow on some sliders!

Do you have Krystal in SW Missouri? In Georgia we have Krystal not White Castles. Pretty much the same thing.

If he wins we need to sue ann arbor for Michael Floyd's injury back in 2009 when we lost to them when he ran into the wall and he was out for the rest of the game

With all the breakthroughs of material science one would think there is a suitable alternative to natural grass and soil rather than plastic grass over concrete.

I don't think it's all that bad of a hire.

1) the last two big-time coaches they hired failed.
2) the kids clearly rallied behind him and improved during the rest of the season.

Sure, they could have easily went out and gotten another big-time coach but this is not a terrible move to try out something new. IMO.

My dudes, let's all agree...

White Castle blows.

You suck lately. Be better.

Never had White Castle sober in my life...not too bad at 3am.

Growing up in Greater Cincy, White Castle was a once-a-week dinner staple in my house. It's an acquired taste when sober, much like beer.

The only white castle we have out here is in our freezer section...

Though made by White Castle, they are tragic imposters of the real sliders. The frozen are abominations.

We're on the ...everything else side of the thread today. Go grab a White Castle and stop trying to regulate.

Everyone should grab some Whities.

Umm...HELL NO!! Anything but White Castle.

Stop it.

I love White Castle, it melts in your mouth, not your hands!

Yes.

Melts out your ass too!!

Also yes. No need for italics. Let's not hide the tragic repercussions of eating such glorious Mana from Heaven.

White Castles are the bomb. Love 'em.

Yes again.

Do you have Krystal in SW Missouri? In Georgia we have Krystal not White Castles. Pretty much the same thing.

Nope. They are similar in size and shape. And that's it. The taste is nothing similar. Mustard and ketchup on a slider is unnatural and should be dealt with by an iron fist of justice.

Not the same IMO. White Castle is way better, once again IMO.

This is a fact, not an opinion.

They're both pretty good but even this Indy guy likes Krystals better. Just MO.

THIS is an opinion, and it's wrong.

*Once again, none of the insults or commentary in this reply is meant to be taken personally.

**But seriously, White Castle is glorious... at least, if you have built up a digestive tolerance.

***I actually have no problem with Krystal, but the first time I went, I was told it was "just like White Castle!" It did not taste like White Castle and the sliders had different toppings, and so I was disappointed. But isolated from comparison, Krystals is good also.

Lol

For Pete's Sake, USC, Why Did You Do It? - latimes

Pundits NEVER completely misjudge a hire. I'm happy about this one, but let's not forget that Pete Carroll was a very unwelcome choice in LA too. We'll see what Clay Helton becomes.

I think it's refreshing to see a guy like this get a shot at coaching his al mater after taking over admirably. He seems to have that locker room and speaks very well.

People always want to armchair AD these picks, but most people thought Sark was a terrific hire. We'll see, but I think he'll do fine there.

I personally thought the Sark hire was not good at all. You can check the threads at the time. USC is a top 5 job. Sark and Helton are not top 5 or 10 or 25 coaches IMO.

See my response in the other thread, Carroll wasn't a top 5 pick either. Hell, he had just gotten fired in the NFL and had never been the head coach for a college team. He did ok.

This is the coaching equivalent of "Tyler Eifert was a three star."

Yeah he was, but nine times out of ten I'll take the five star. This guy could be a great coach, but if ND hired this guy I'd be raising hell.

Helton didn't play at USC. He was at Houston and Auburn.

To Wooly's defense he didn't say Alma Mater. He said Al Mater which I think means whales vagina...or is it San Diego? IDK go ask a German.

It's not. Just because you see it as a program that has a Top 5 chance of winning a national championship when someone competent is in charge doesn't make it a Top 5 job.

You're wrong. It's 100% a top 5 job. Ask anyone.

How come Saban, Harbaugh, Meyer, Stoops, Fisher, Miles, Tomlin, Strong or anyone else at a Top 20 job didn't upgrade? It's a Top 5 job, gets Top 5 classes every year and has perfect weather. What is stopping them from having a Top 20 coach if it's a Top 5 job?

WOOF. At least make it a 2-year or 3-year deal, you had all the leverage...
