Correct.

Steele uses 4 or 5 dozen or more abbreviations in his magazine to save space. VHT is one of them. It takes 1/3 to 1/2 a magazine page to list them all.

Ex-Michigan WR/KR Dennis Norfleet lands at Tuskegee University

"Evidently he was dismissed from the team, Dennis informed us he was no longer on the team," Detroit King coach Dale Harvel said in May. "Something about a disciplinary thing between him and coach Harbaugh. Whether it was academics or something internal, I'm not sure. He just said they had a disagreement and he was let go.

A late signee in Brady Hoke's 2012 recruiting class, Norfleet ends his Michigan career as the career leader in kickoff returns (90) and kickoff return yardage (2,203). The former Detroit King prospect made 21 catches for 157 yards in his Michigan career.

Similar to the Ondre Pipkins incident, the player's and the coach's explanations do not match and there is some animosity. Norfleet had been suspended, allegedly for academics.

Didn't know which thread to bump so I'll put this question here.

When was the last time we had a transfer come in and really play well? I'm not talking about 5th year grad transfers...just normal ones.

I think Amir Carlisle is the only guy on the current roster and he hasn't really been that great. Anyone else in the BK era? Weis era?

I'll throw some salt on it for you guys, Brennan Scarlett looked pretty good on the DL against USC last week.

Isn't it really difficult for a transfer to get into ND? Doesn't that reduce the possibilities of this happening?

Thought he was a walk on?

I know it's difficult in general but I'm sure it's easier for a football player. I just find it odd considering so many players leave the program. One would think we would seek out players to come in more often than we do.

For quite some time (like decades), ND did not accept transfer students from anywhere other than Holy Cross(the one in Indiana, not the Gordy Lockbaum one). Obviously that has changed a little, but they still don't accept too many transfers.

could it all go back to foreign language requirements or something similar? How many major college football schools require foeign language the way ND does? If they are set on going to one of those schools out of HS they may not have taken foreign language. So while said student athlete may be in good standing at their current university and a athlete worth bringing on board, they still may not have certain requirements to gain admittance from ND?

Ruffer transferred from William and Mary and then walked on. Though I am not sure if he played football there.

I know every year we get a few transfers, but with coaches adamant on taking 25+ this year I can't help but feel there will be more than usual this year.

I would love some insight or just some speculation on who may be transferring and why.

I haven't gone through the roster, but a few like Deeb and Randolph come to mind. I know Deeb was recruited for a 3-4 and can't believe he is still here (good for him). I thought Randolph was going to be the next Prince Shembo...I have always been rooting for him and think he could really be a player somewhere else...

Hopefully some of you insiders chime in with some insight...

Deeb was put on medical scholarship. Last I heard, he was trying his hand at baseball.

I would bet Jay Hayes and Grant Blankenship will transfer. Where there is smoke there is fire, both have had tweets that basically said that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brent follows suit.
