He has a commitment from nearby 5 star QB who can basically be at ND anytime he wants.Don't get caught up your feelings. He's responsible for the awful QB play and the terrible recruiting. He has to go period.

Yeah but he can't even get him to skip his senior prom to reclassifyHe has a commitment from nearby 5 star QB who can basically be at ND anytime he wants.
I expect the original plan was to run behind Alt who was sealing. Then the LB moved to fill that hole, abandoning the edge.I would like to know if the plan was run wide left on that or not. The block transfer was fantastic. But I am not sure where the hole was supposed to be. It looks to me like it was maybe between Alt and Mitch. Either way, the block transfer was great but so too was the read and recognition by Estime. I think the RBs have seen just as much improvement as the OL.
in fairness Orlovsky has been championing Rees for about 3 years or so nowlol everyone saying they love Orlovsky this last week, not gonna be in here saying hes terrible because hes backing the Tom.
Hope so and maybe why he’s tweeting this stuff. But ugh, noon games are the worst, at least for us with kids in sports and stuff. Didn’t even realize this was a road game, TBH.He'll also be calling the game on Saturday, right?
When the TEs buy into the physical run game, they are welcomed as honorary OLine by the Big Fellas.
Notre Dame personifies that sort of TE. It is a blessing and a curse, though. Coach Kelly saw this some years ago
and tried to make us competitive as a power football team emphasizing TE play. Great. We ARE TE-U.
But we aren't WR-U. I think that this has continually plagued us recruiting QBs and WRs.
I actually think leaving Thomas on the field as an extra receiver in 14 personnel is a good move and helps. Would love if he becomes a Claypool/Boykin type soon.
Personally I'd be stunned if Rees is still here for the 2023 season. Also probably going to see at least 1 RB enter the portalPerhaps Rees stays on. Freeman has to be happy with what happened with Clemson. The RB room is going to be crazy next year.
Edwards and Love are going to make that room very full...not to mention Limar.Personally I'd be stunned if Rees is still here for the 2023 season. Also probably going to see at least 1 RB enter the portal
I think that was duo. If so, there really isn't a whole. Its a bunch of down blocks and double teams with the RB reading the LB. If the LB goes outside, a hole will likely open inside or the weak side could get a push and the RB can cut all the way back. If the LB goes inside, the RB bounces it outside. It's hard to know just from this clip, but they were probably identifying #25 as the read. He started to go inside, so Estime went outside.I would like to know if the plan was run wide left on that or not. The block transfer was fantastic. OC might know just a bit what he’s doing. If only he could completely eliminate all third and longs.

elite yard to go but well below expected on conversion - woof.
When I saw that play live, I thought it was beautifully designed
