Not a huge NBA fan but simply a poetic ending to Kobe's career tonight. 35 points currently in the third quarter. One of the greatest for certain.

Great career and final game for Kobe. I will be the butthole that mentions he scored his 60 tonight on 50! shot attempts. Amazing player and I'm sad to see him go.

Idgaf how many minutes or shots he took, you're not supposed to drop 60 and a game winner in your final game after 20 years.

No one has even scored 60 this year. Unreal how great he is.

The ball still went through the hoop. The final minutes were pretty unreal though. Took me back to vintage Kobe memories.

And the DJ Mbenga sighting!!! Laker fans know wassup.

What in the actual hell?
Your final game is not supposed to be like that.
That was basically Kobe taking it back 10 years and reminding every non Lakers fan just why we hated him.

Again, he did it on 50 shot attempts. Imagine what would happen if Curry took 50 shots in a game. Not taking away from his career overall which was amazing, but I'm just not too impressed in a one game sample with that inefficiency.

37, 20th year, been injured for last 4 years and he drops 60 and a game winner as he drops the mic.

Curry isn't strong enough now to shoot 50 times.

If you're not impressed you're just hating.

I was bored and unimpressed... until he scored 15 points in a row to win the game without missing a shot in a span of about 2.5 minutes. That was ridiculous. What a way to go out.

I read somewhere that he broke the NBA field goal attempts record? If that's true, that's hilarious and fitting.

Nah dude. Just a realist. Any hall of famer can score 60 on 50 shot attempts.

Curry shot 50.2% this year according to basketball reference. Not sure if it's been updated after tonights game yet, but I'm assuming not.
Kobe shot 44% tonight with a horrible 3 pt percentage so figure Curry probably gets 70 to 72.

And again, I'm not taking anything away from his career where he is an all time great and hall of famer. I just can't get too impressed when the Lakers game plan was literally "let Kobe do whatever the fuck he wants" in his final game.

Quit being such a ball washer. so he drops 60 (50 attempts!) in his last game. Where was that the rest of the season or was he saving himself for tonight?

BTW..........Curry hit his 400 three pointer of the season in the Warriors record setting season.

I was just replying to what Curry could do on 50 shots.
Depends different players and styles. But all shots being the same Steph would probably drop 70.

This.

Can't wait to watch ESPN and not hear about Kobe. Just need LeBron to retire soon, too.

That was literally their whole season. Kinda pisses me of that the lakers let Kobe shoot their way to the 2nd best lotto odds and no one says a thing cause it's his "going away party".

Always hated Kobe, but that was awesome. He was the last of his kind, a true gunslinger and alpha. #RIPNBAATTITUDEERA

This is stupid. You don't have to diminish a great player to show yours the respect he deserves.

Lets get Curry to retire too. He gets too much attention. I hate it when players are amazing at sports.

Anyone who watches NBA and the game specifically can see the Jazz weren't giving it to him. They ran him off the ball, double teamed him in the baseline, and were particularly tough on him in the 4th. Laugh at taking 50 shots, but the Jazz were playing.

I mean...Kobe had a remarkable career. But he's been pretty bad for about 3 years. He had an historically bad shooting season this year. He shot 35.8% from the field while taking 17 shots (7 three pointers, 28.5%) a game.

No one is arguing that Kobe has been good. He's retiring for a reason. He can barely walk.

But he just put up 60, a game winner, and a W in his final game when his team was down 10 in the 4th quarter.

He outscored the Jazz himself in the 4th. Vintage Kobe.

Who cares? The dude is 37 with a broken body. No one argues that he had a good year this year.

Ten years from now the only thing people will remember about this season is his last game.
