So we're expecting a new baby any day now and my three year old has been asking a lot of questions about when she was a baby and growing up and that kind of thing. Today she comes up to me, looks me right in the eye, and says "Daddy when I grow up I will be too big to sit on your shoulders." She was grinning from ear to ear that she had figured that out for herself. It was the toddler equivalent of "Daddy some day I'm going to get married and move out and we won't see each other so much anymore." Devastating.

You think that was devastating? Wait until she gets married. My daughter still remembers that as the first time she's ever saw me cry.

Congrats wiz. If I have any advice is that dont let them grow up too fast. Enjoy every minute you can with them.

My son is 10 and has grown so much that my wife can wear his shoes. I also joked to her that its possible (if he screws up ) that we could be grandparents before we are 50.

How did you get away for the USC game? I'd be dead and buried if I tried to do that.
