My guy had his first soccer game last weekend... here are the 'Before and After' images lol:

It was his first match, and he's already earned league-wide notoriety as "#5 from the Black team" and as "the kid that plays like it's football."

One other dad has already decided to call him "Beast Mode" for the rest of the season.

We've been spending time at home working on the differences between soccer and football lol.

I made a baby.

Little Wiz #3 coming in March.

Congrats Wiz!!

I really enjoy this thread and the excitement of parenthood. Enjoy every moment! I have been blessed and had the privilege and responsibility of raising two daughters. My youngest was married last year and my eldest is currently doing her Masters in NY. I trust you 'Muricans will take good care of her.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

Been off IE awhile due to the birth of #2.

We named him Walter, and he came out at 10 pounds. Very large boy. Close to 20 pounds at 3 months now. Id say his floor is Jeff Faine, and his ceiling is Quenton Nelson.

Wally Steelhead.

The greatest OL name of all time surpassing Chicago's very own, Conrad Dobler.

Do you guys have a Walter in the family or did the Mrs. really fall for naming him after Walter Matthau? Tell me your oldest is named Dick. Asking for a Bears fan.

Congrats Steelie!

Thanks. The Mrs. really fell for it. She wanted Hank, but knew I wasnt budging on Walter, so kind of gave up. He has a onesie that says EMBRACE THE SWEETNESS. Gonna take a pic of him in that with a ROOS headband before Thursday kickoff.

About a month ago I was stopped on the Interstate in a construction zone when a semi plowed into me from behind at about 45 or 50. Totaled my vehicle and left me really beaten up and sore. I was complaining about how sore I still am to my 8-year-old daughter and she said, "You cry like Mom beat you up!"

Damn Bishop, glad you're okay. That isn't a small car crash, sounds like you were fortunate to walk away?

Kids have no sympathy.

You're lucky to be alive. A truck driver recently did the same thing here in Indy. Killed the mother and her 18 month old twins. Police estimate he was going between 50-55. Glad you're only sore.

Thanks. I had to do two weeks of PT just to be functional again. I'm getting better, but am still pretty sore, especially my lower back. It definitely could've ended much worse, though.

Good to hear.

Sounds like you need an attorney.

Does Bryant-Denny have preferred seating close to the field for those disabled? Can your lawyer negotiate a settlement that includes season tickets?

A couple of years ago I announced that daughter #2 and her husband were expecting their 2nd child (they already had a 2-year-old daughter). Unfortunately, she miscarried shortly afterwards. This afternoon she had a 7 lb. 1 oz. baby boy. Mom & son are doing great, my son-in-law is very chuffed, and I have a grandson.
