The (I believe) play prior to it, on the outside screen to him, there was a blatant hold on Bilal(maybe?) where you could see his shoulder pads as his jersey is getting ripped down.

You are correct I was screaming about that play too.

Loves TD should have gone 10 yards the other way. There was a BLATANT hold right in the hole. Not sure what ND player it was, but he had a very good chance at making the play but was literally ridden to the ground by #74 from Stanford who had an arm bar around his neck from behind and tackled him to the ground. One of the worst missed holding penalties I have ever seen.

Kelly said it was a blown assignment.

Great game, sore as schitt from doing the push-up routine after scores. Looking for something to nitpick but won’t this week. Wish we had a fifth quarter. Hoping to do worse to VT this week. Book brings an energy that should keep us pumped week after week. Can’t remember seeing so many different players deployed on defense. Need to memorize more players numbers. Bodes well for team next year. Good to see Bilal building his confidence. I see more playmaking from him and others in the weeks ahead.

Looks like they use Kareem as tackle and DE. Daelin Hayes has taken a back seat as our stud compared to Okwara and Kareem. Hoping he starts to stand out a little more. He is close. Kelly is using more players tan. Ever before which is keeping the entire sideline engaged in the game. Hoping BW can play some kind of role going forward.

I predicted 21+ win in the poll. How many others were with me? Picking the same for this week too.

1/5 on INTs thrown to ND by my count. Not that we should have had them all but we easily could have had 3 or 4 instead of one on the night.

It really was as if the DL just decided to apply pressure in the second half after playing nice in the first. Seems to me Kareem needs the bye week as much as anyone - definitely fighting through some lower body issues. Hope he can get to 80/90% for VT. Kid has to get held more than anyone in CFB.

DEX!!! Get that kid 20 carries a game. Seems CBK might have to play him out of necessity and then get annoyed when he can't live without 15-20 carries a game from Juice. Love the energy he brings and explosiveness that is otherwise missing from the O.

Book is one cool customer out there. We will see how that holds up @ VT in the dark. I expect us to have some adversity to overcome. He seems to have the demeanor not to get flustered by the atmosphere as well as bounce back from mistakes that are bound to happen.

Refs were shorting us all night - the play reviewed where Boykin stretched over a yard past the marker but spotted a yard short had me waking up the neighborhood. I am really at the point I would prefer MAC refs or something for home games.

Crowd was loud on TV, so great to drown out a lot of the drivel from Flutie.

Really? I always thought it was because he was such a whiney bitch.
It's the west coast chill. He has a swag you can only understand If you spend some time in the best atmosphere on planet earth. I hate his demeanor too.

Missed holding calls certainly have been an epidemic of sorts this season it seems.

ND got 9 Dlineman into the game. Only the Ademilola twins and Wardlow didn't get in. So awesome to see the confidence in the depth of that position group. They were monstrous on Saturday night!

Took this from someone on facebook, thought it was pretty cool:

2017-
Lose to Georgia on last drive strip sack.
Lose to Stanford on 4th quarter collapse that included a Stanford TD followed by ND turnover, Stanford TD, followed by sacks on sacks.

2018-
Beat Michigan on last drive strip sack.
Beat Stanford on 4th quarter dominance that included TD, followed by turnover, followed by TD, followed by sacks on sacks.

We’re eerily reversing course from last year. Hope we do the same for ABC prime-time road matchup (2017 Miami, 2018 VT).

did anyone else feel that Tony Jones got the first down on 4th in the first quarter?

The ball reach was a first down, but the refs ran in well behind where the ball ended. Not to gripe too much, but I know at the time I was upset with the spot for sure.

They blew the spot on the run before that, IMO. ND should have been half a yard closer coming into that fourth down.

Meh... The only thing I see in that play is poor play by jalen elliot. He had him squared up and blew it.

We'll call it even. I think Kmet (one of the TEs) probably should have been called for a hold on Dex's long touchdown run.

Wouldn't be the first time PAC-12 screwed us in that game. They were doing their damn best job to screw us late in the 3rd and early 4th quarters. Credit our guys for not getting down about it, they instead stepped up and took it to Stanford.

Has anybody been able to find a full game replay that isn't on NBC's website, by the way? I don't have cable, but I only see extended highlights and I wasn't able to watch the full game.

Yep, terrible spot. Surprised there was no challenge on that play. But like someone else mentioned, the previous spot was bad too. And don't get me started on that egregious spot on Boykin's big 1st down catch.

I believe the TJ spot and the laughable Boykin spot were both the same line judge.

Shocked (not really). I was pissed with the TJ spot, but literally laughed out loud with the Boykins spot. I never once got upset with it. I knew it was SO BAD that there was no way on God's green Earth that it wouldn't be overturned. Almost gotta give the line judge reps for even trying lol

Yes it is on NBCSN site. Go to Watch, then Full Replays

Watched it today, trying to break down what I missed while I was there. What an atmosphere.

I think you still need cable for that, youtube would be a better option

Man once again didn't like some of the calls in that game but man o man was that impressive. Book are you kidding me-I've been to the last two spring games and I have said this before that he may be the better QB. Very impressive.
