I may have to make my way out to see him play. I know the competition in wv is terrible.

WANT!! Did anyone else watch these sophomore highlights? He had 96 tackles and over 1/3 were for a loss - 36

That's insane even against inferior competition. He's a safety! Lock this kid up as fast as possible.

Have you guys seen his tweets? Dude LOVES him some Irish. I'd embed but I'm off grid on the new mobile and its beyond my pay grade technically.

He's got Auburn, Clemson, Oklahoma, Tennessee & VaTech offers and a 92+ Composite.

Add it all up and you'd think there'd be more chatter about him.

He's planning to attend junior day in January per scout

Solid, hopefully he gets an offer then. Nice looking athlete.

That Junior Day could have some really good talent on campus and very early in the process for most.

2017 is going to be the best recruiting class of the internet era... By far.

I'm glad that we are getting after a lot of these guys early. This kid looks solid!

The list always seems huge early, then the late backouts. But this class does seem to be off to a different kind of start!

The list isn't even really that big right now. This is an extremely early Junior Day for ND, probably doing more than 1 this year, great idea. To the point though, what makes this Junior Day potentially really good is getting just a handful of really quality prospects on campus early. Most likely won't be a ton of kids but an a lot of time spent with a select few.

Excited to see this kid against better talent. Doing some summer camps could actually hurt his stock if he isn't up to the challenge.

Could actually further increase his stock when he rises to the challenge... you mean?

If we beat OSU, the biggest benefit to recruiting will be from the 2017 class no doubt. Could really push it over the top.

If we beat Urbie, I also think it just solidifies '16 and reduces the chances of any late de-commits.

Hope so. It will be difficult to beat the Clausen, Floyd, and Rudolph class. I think if ND beats tOSU and makes a playoff appearance next year there's a definite chance they sign a top 5 class and maybe go higher. That happens though and they'll have to fight against the Kellys to NFL rumors that will be swirling.

"I want to go see Florida, Oklahoma, get back to Notre Dame, see LSU and Alabama," Pitts said. "I have friends that actually had that experience already, and they went down (to some SEC schools) and they said the atmosphere is ridiculous with or without football. It's just crazy all year round."

Without an offer we shouldn't expect to get much traction here. Hopefully he does indeed end up visiting this summer, for II maybe, and he gets that offer. However, for now, it sounds like he's currently favoring Oklahoma, Penn State, Florida, Clemson, Maryland, West Virginia. Was just at PSU's spring game and will look to get to visit Clemson, Tennessee, West Virginia. His plan is to announce a top 10 by the end of the summer and commit on NSD.

Was also named the DB MVP at the Rivals Camp Series in Charlotte. Over the likes of Devon Hunter, Leanthony Williams, and Jermani Brown.
