...and I wouldn't know shit about color use if not for software user interface development standards. So I can make software that is "eye functional"...so I still don't know shit on this subject.

That said...

I like the use of a couple colors on uniforms....not a fan of the color fan on one uniform.

...well, and I have a meh response to powder blue...just too non-committal for me.

I'm guessing because these are designed to mimic the actual 1924 jerseys, and the year on the helmet is either an homage, or a place-holder for putting jersey numbers on there.

I feel like 18 Stripes is just trolling everyone. Those designs are fucking hideous, and I think our opponents would laugh at us if we came out of the tunnel in either of those designs. Holy crap...just too busy. I'd rather they be as clean as possible. Don't put the damn 4 Horsemen on the jersey...wtf.

Notre Dame footballers are the "Golden Domers", not the "Negron Domers". No alternate uni should change the standard golden helmet at all. Not one iota. Play around with jersey, pants, socks, and shoes, to your heart's content. But leave the helmets off limits.

Yet you root for a team that wears the incorrect pantone home jerseys. The gold has repeatedly switched to various pantones over the years and they use green when ever they want.

And what's the standard gold helmet? The one's they wore for decades or the one they've worn for the past 5-6 years?

Here is a design that seems to almost mirror that of the 2015 SS uniforms except they are primarily gold instead of all green. I could go for something along these lines.

You really have to crank up the brightness of the green and gold for ND to pull it off.

But this is at least one of the color concepts that could work. But I think if you put yours together you'd notice the poor color flow. For example, the gold dome on the sleeve is going to look like Purdue while your helmet says something completely different.
