Is there a reason we can't just do a simple blackout alt uniform with gold trim/lettering? You could even use a 'kelly green' for the highlighting around the gold.

The helmet could remain gold (and if you need to be extra cute, run a single black stripe down the middle). The jerseys could have cutesy little shamrocks leprechauns but otherwise keep it fuck!ng simple.

I guarantee if they put out a jersey like that, it'll be come an all-time favorite and I would buy one instantly.

See I agree black unis would POP, especially with the right trimming. I know UA could pull off a win there. I just hate the idea of teams wearing colors that are not associated with that school. Even more so if it is a tradition rich team like ND.

This. North Dakota actually has a black / green uni that would be a good base point. I'd do it with chrome green fonts and a matching chrome green helmet and shoes.

Draw some inspiration from these, drop some LSD and get to work

I'd do black pants/jerseys/shoes. Jerseys with green numbers, trimmed in gold, both chrome/reflective circa 2013 SS unis.

Light, small green/gold details on pants and shoes.

It was the white/green throwbacks that I was referencing but I forgot they were white jersey's with green letters so my original statement is retracted. And wow, we've seen a lot of uniform variation over the last 10 years.

The concept doesn't use Georgia Tech colors. Pretty different shades of blue and gold.
