Finally, a ray of light but it comes across too Packerish for this Chicagolander.

So lets put a sensor in a sub standard product to find out how much force is being transferred to the players brain instead of contracting Shoei, Arai or Simpson motorcycle helmets to use their technology to build a better helmet.

Got it.

Simpson has already designed a football helmet that tests show greatly reduces concussions. I believe a few colleges might be using it. It's become popular in youth football. NFL is their infinite wisdom said "No Thanks". Probably because Simpson wouldn't give the NFL 95% of the profits.

As a purveyor of brain buckets I can say, if Simpson produced an absolute 10 on the safety scale, Shoei would make a 13.

The ones Crusader posted yesterday are the best of the current three... actually don't care much for the other two.

On a call updating on stadium/ticket process - unfortunately have to ditch the call but found this interesting.

2" added to lower bowl bench seats and first three rows of upper bowl made into HC accessible areas for net effect of over 7000 seats "lost" which is made up for with 4,000 added capacity in the suites/box. New ND capacity will be 78,000 instead of 81,000 previously. Reality is 10% reduction in (potential) noise makers in lower bowl. However that has to be measured against the blue hairs that will now be behind glass instead of grousing at anyone getting excited.

Vivid Seats will be official ND ticket exchange and they are calling off the "enforcement" dogs so folks can use Stubhub etc without fear of getting smacked around. I think that will open up a lot of the gold seats - no longer taboo to put your seats up if you aren't using them since you can use an ND sanctioned site (and likely have the option of donating the seats).

Overall will be a very interesting roll out, sure to be glitches and problems but that is the price of progress.

Tell ya what I'd always thought would be great for a one time game was all white without any of the excess trim that has been done in the past-something on the order of Wis/Neb with just one color trim and numbers-pick the color-Gold Navy or Kelly Green keep it simple and clean. No jazzy trim and just white shoes without all the silly trim. You could keep the helmet or do a color that matches the trim color with any of the 3 logos-Lep/ND/shamrock but keep it simple and clean. The uni they used aginst Mich a few years ago had a chance but the put too much crap on things. I love the Irish uni but Wis /Neb all whites are a close 2nd for me-clean very clean.

I like the core design... not a fan of that shade of green tho. Could work it they darkened the green a bit.

Just use the standard green/gold in that design and it is most dope.

The UTL 2.0 was our 7th concept. Here's the 4th and 5th, as well:

https://www.18stripes.com/notre-dame-football-uniform-concept-2017-under-armour-catalog/

Sort of a what if Under Armour was allowed to make some changes to the standard home uniform.

And for a night game in Dublin.

OK with both...would prefer something other than white pants on the bottom one. seems like you can break up the black in the pants w/o going white...shrug.

Is this a newly created position? Or a replacement? I thought they had a graphics guy. I'm hoping it's a new/additional position, because 1) more resources the better, and 2) I hope whoever was doing graphics didn't move on. He/She was good I thought.

Ok. So who's the guy who's doing edits currently on twitter? Like 2 weeks ago everyone was raving about that twitter/design.
