That is not a quiet period for the board. There's a lot to talk about after NSD and spring ball gets started shortly after. To be honest... it will piss a lot of people off and 99% of the board doesn't need closure on non-ND recruits. The mods do a very good job of updating the thread titles of noted recruits when they choose another school. If a recruit hasn't had that done, then more times than not... there's a reason for it. That reason is that nobody cares.

Do what you will, but it will be an ugly result.

I think it would be a cool idea to have a thread that gives other team's message board sites (like IE, free). It's difficult to find sites for other teams that are as active as this one.

Ex: I was trying to find an active Alabama forum to see what they had to say about the DRob situation and couldn't find one that showed much activity.

Not sure if this would be considered advertising or whatever but just thought I would throw this out there.

I suggest a new board gets created, but it shouldn't be available to every member (At least not right away). A lot of sites have hidden boards that you either have to be invited to, or you gain access to after X number of posts or after X number of days. On top of that there's no way to know when a new post is added to Social Groups, hence why they're often forgotten about.

Ha, that would cause the entire board to get shut down by mysterious forces...which is just silly, because I'm part of 3 other college boards just like IE that have their own version of the GC, and they're far, far less tame than ours was. Shaggy has an "Ex-WAG nudes" thread, and threads for Plenty of Fish conquests, among others.

Here's a suggestions, can we finally go back to being able to upload photos directly from a CPU and not have to go through Facebook or Photobucket as a host? With PB doing their pay for services now tons of photos on here were lost and it would be so much easier to just be able to upload straight from source...

On the photo upload point... if we can't just upload a photo from our CPU like the good ole days, what's everyone's suggestions on ways to upload photos now that sites like photobucket are pay-for??

Imgur is the obvious choice, but any argument against direct uploads has been increasingly mitigated over time.

The space and, more importantly the time involved in the backup process is less and less demanding as time goes on. We're not uploading 4k videos here-- this is completely reasonable from an IT perspective.

It would be nice if we could incorporate the

tag too, a lot of the other vBulletin Football sites have it.
