We repped eachother before you deleted it for crying out loud. There are worse words used in almost every thread on here and we were obviously just razzing eachother.

Please link the Language Policy that you are referring to so I can review it. That way I can refrain from using inapproprate language in the future. Don't give me that "you can go somewhere else" crapola either. Being a mod doesnt give you an automatic right to bully the members around.

ND isn't bullying anyone... he's simply trying to maintain a good board for everyone and pointing out the fact that if the site rules, admins, mods, members upset anyone there are other options...

being a mod on this site is not easy at times fellas... and it's completely thankless

That's funny, because it reads more like "Because I said so. Get lost if you don't like it."

It is a tough job, but mods are volunteering for it and know what they are getting into. We should have the right to question something if we disagree with it and the rules are unclear. Getting in fights with the members and telling them to get lost any time you question them, is abusing your power. If we get to the point where mods are subjectively decided to point the finger at whomever they choose and play by their own rules, then that will be the day that I take NDinLA's advice... and simply post somewhere else.

Everything was and will always be "in good fun" on my end. No reason for anybody to get all bent out of shape.

I like to call that pissed-offdom "spite". Try it. Its fun.

Also, we use spite as a verb. Example:

If you go to your buddies house and block in his girlfriend's car when you know she has to go to work and there are plenty of non-obstructive places to park, you spited her. That is a good-natured spiting. This is not only acceptable, but encouraged.

If your buddy's girlfriend gets revenge on you by inviting over her morally-casual friend, has said friend get all "up close and personal" with you without your permission, takes a picture of it then posts it on your girlfriend's facebook wall, she spited you. But that is not a good-natured spiting, and is totally unacceptable.

Everyone here should have the right to defend themselves against unfair moderation as long as they are being respectful and have valid concern. My concern was in regards to my deletion, which wasn't in line with historical precedence of the board nor directly pointed out in any of the rules as a word we could not use. In fact, it's been used before and there are threads all over this board with worse language. I don't have anything against LA personally, I just wanted clarification on the rules. Instead, I got the same bully bullcrap "Because I said so" type answer I always get. Then a neg rep from you. *smooches*

He took the time to make a brand new completely 100% unnecessary and OT post... chastising me for going OT (ironic, huh?)... and gave me a neg rep. I almost got mad at the ridiculousness of it... then realized how little it actually mattered... and went on living my life. It seems you're taking the same approach, which is good because it's just really not worth caring about.

This thread has brought out a lot of what I don't like about this board. There are some people who have a lot to offer 90 percent of the time, but are so insanely uptight the other 10 that I find them unbearable. I'm looking at you BGIF. I'm reminded of an article I read about the time the BTK killer came out. He was breaking out a ruler and measuring other people's lawns to make sure they were up to code. I can't think of a more appropriate ananlogy. And the long windedness, don't even get me started. An epic blowhard.
