I haven't been on sixth street since 1994.
You should see it on Halloween (if you haven't already)... Crazy!


We had a set routine.
Start off at the Shot Bar early.
Head over to the Daiquiri Factory to shoot some pool until around 9.
Go to Toulouse or Maggie Mae's depending on the bands playing.
Then, if you didn't get lucky, we'd finish up on some bar on 5th street that stayed open until like 5.
I think it was called Dreamstreet?

I miss that place/my youth.

Was only 19 and 20 in Austin with a fake id.
Imagine that place being your only experience with bar scene/nightlife.
I went back home to Illinois thinking it was like that everywhere.

I think I saw Ric Flair wrestle Dick the Bruiser (and his cousin the Crusher) in a pair of those at the International Amphitheatre circa 1977.

So what am I missing that has everyone but Corso on Gameday picking Texas?

I hope BK can channel all the talk into some motivation.

And it'd be cool if he drove it home to DeShone and Malik that everyone thinks it's a problem that they'll both play, while no one is worried about the same with Texas. Drum up an attitude and some passion for the QBs to share.

They are giving Mark May's scripts out to all the Mothership employees now.

Wouldn't surprise me if they make Wiz pick Nevada next week.

Watching games today has me so fired up. I am begging for ND, especially the defense, to come out ready from the start. There should be no way in hell you come out flat and uninspired tomorrow night.

I love the Sunday night primetime deal but man I wish we were playing today. Really looking forward to USC BAMA today though and theres a lot of other good ones. My PVR is getting loaded up. Might have to pull an all nighter.

Longhorns 247 isn't optimistic about their chances. Listened to their podcast. Howe, the main Texas 247 writer can't see Texas being able to stop the ND running game for four quarters and expects to see the True Freshman taking the majority of snaps. They see ND winning 34-27. I love our chances against a first-game QB in prime time.

Interesting note per 247 - BK is 20-0 against unranked opponents when ND is in the top 10.

LOL@ GameDay, WTF?? I couldn't believe it, at first I thought it was a joke. God this team better come out FIRED UP. Sunday night, ABC, against a bluest of blood opponent. I can't wait to see our offense come out. I wouldn't be upset if we didn't attempt a forward pass and just rammed it down their throats to start the game. Our running game should be dank.
