I don't think Notre Dame has scored 63 points in one game in my lifetime. I'd like to see it happen. Last time they topped 62 was in 1977, beating Georgia Tech 69-14.

If Purdue can give up 34 and 38 points to MAC schools, I would think that Golson and Co could hang 63 on them. Considering it's being played in a dome, now I'll just be pissed if it doesn't happen. Golson throws seven TDs and gets himself into the Heisman race. Shit would be nice.

Yeah I'm fully expecting a 45-17 game. The only way they score 60+ is if Kelly thinks risking an injury to one of his (only) three RBs isn't worth not being a dick and throwing the ball.

I just want us to not be nervous this year with this team. I know after the last few weeks we should kill them but we have said that the last two years and...yeah.

This screams letdown game, but we tend to play really well in the Shamrock Series. Really hope the boys will be dialed in. Neutral site, night game, cool unis, and somewhat of a rivalry game against an in-state team that has almost upset us the last two years. More than enough reasons for them to be focused for this game.

Actually think this is a big game for the momentum of the season. An ugly 20-17 win heading into the Bye week kills the good vibrations from Michigan. A blowout shows we're legit. Would love to win by 30+ again these next two weeks.

I don't want to overlook but Purdue, but lets face it, they're awful this year. This game should be over in the first half and allow the starters a ton of extra rest given the bye week that follows.

I'm starting to jump on board, Golson doesn't look comfortable to start games but once he's made a couple throws he is dialed in. Expect him to be even more polished and hopefully, we drop fewer passes.

I think Prosise is one dropped pass away from never touching the field. Kelly was pissed on Saturday after Prosise dropped what would've been a 15+ yard completion.

To me the only way we have a let down kind of game is if Golson has a let down. I think he is hungry and is on a mission and will play well yet again. So ND will cruise...44-10

I know we seem to struggle playing them...BUT it's indoors, Golson just seems sooo dialed in and the BIG difference is the team speed on defense....they typically gashed us on runs, across the middle throws...these seem to be all in check w/ this defense..NOT WORRIED!!

We've played really well in every Shamrock Series game. If a Rees ND team can beat a very good Arizona State team in Arlington, a Golson ND team can clobber an awful Purdue team in Indianapolis.
