We will not be as outmatched in any game this year as Navy will be against us on Saturday. I am not saying it is impossible for us to lose, but it is less likely than us beating Oklahoma or USC on the road this year. You should be less nervous about this game than you are optimistic about the Oklahoma or USC game.

It seems like some of you guys think we are going to lose on Saturday for some reason. The negativity on here is out of control.

After watching our opening game (especially the opening drive) last year, we could be playing an 8 man high school team this Saturday and I'd still be a little nervous. Fvck we tend to have the worst luck lately.

I think we'll break the unlucky streak this year, but I won't be sitting back in my chair relaxing anytime soon.

Until ND proves that they are no longer prone to the yearly inexplicable loss, I won't assume anything. I'm expecting us to win, and I'm expecting us to win big, but I'd be lying if I said that there wasn't a thought in the back of my mind reminding me of past losses to USF, Tulsa, Navy, Syracuse , and other inferior opponents.
