Well, yeah, that was exactly what I am saying/worried about. I hope they haven't decided anything yet. That would be very bad in my opinion. That is basically the opposite of a fair hearing if the decision has been made before it starts.

I guess I see it as the opposite. I'd hope since the investigation ended over a month ago, they go in with a great idea punishments/no punishment and the hearings are to listen to the players and confirm what they expected.

I understood that the school investigated the incident(s) with the assistance of the Office of the General Council and they will be presenting their findings to the committee at the same time as the students will be presenting their defense. I have assumed/hoped that the decision will not be made by the same group that has conducted the investigation. Again, that would only further undermine the credibility of the process in my mind.

I know it is not a criminal proceeding, but think about how you would feel if the police investigated you for a crime and then they were the ones that ruled on your guilt or innocence and potential punishment at the end, rather than a judge and jury.

And in the case of a guilty verdict, appeals take longer.

Again, anything's possible, but don't hold your breath.

Yes, it's happening to me every time I try to quote or post. If you click reload while you are on the banner page, it will take you directly to the "reply to thread" page and you should be all set.

Nope, it's happening to everyone I believe. Just keep hitting reload and it should take you to where you want to go.
