The dirty (not so) secret of ND is that about a third of the BoT/admin absolutely hate the football and would rather it be gone. They don't appreciate the good it does nor the money/exposure it brings and see it as a scourge on the Catholic and higher education mission of ND.

About 15-20% hate all sport teams.

I remember hearing the higher ups had that problem but doesn't that go a ways back?

They seem to be throwing haymakers now.

i am going to invent a 4 inch high black tape in sizes 27" thru 60" to cover the scrolls on flat screen TVs so young kids (like mine) who watch sportscenter ALL the TIME dont have to read or see the constant scrolls describing things like this anymore.

how are we supposed to prevent our young sports crazed kids from being subjected to all the crap pro and college sports gives us on a regular basis?

I agree. This all may have been part of the leadership disease last year. With Riggs and all the corner backs play this year we will be okay. Ishaq is replaceable. Getting Fitts would be ironic, and answer the question, "does he Fitts better in Williams spot?" Daniels, all the talent, little of the output. I can live with CBreezy and crew! I don't think they will miss a beat. I bet a dime to a dollar Brent eclipses Daniels overall, college and pro, anyways! Moore is Moore.

May end up being better, because Seriously, I think the board is right, and I think Rochell is rising to the start. Trumbetti moving forward puts Okwara in play for playing where he needs, and we have Jay Hayes for depth.

Bogtrotter's going to be seriously disappointed if it's only a 1 game suspension. That would mean the leadership disease is still around and we'll still have guys like Daniels and Russell holding us back.

That's kind of sad and ignorant when you consider all that money the football team provides for classrooms and facilities, not to mention the donations that come to the school as a result of football. Without football and the Navy's assistance, I imagine the university would have shut down in the 40s.

Just saw this so haven't gone over thread yet, but have noticed from browsing this forum how undervalued kvr is to most on here. KVR is the 2nd reason this team went undefeated, next to manti playing out of his mind. He is easily the best corner since day 1 ND has had since Bobby. Would be a hugeeeee loss, even with talented athletes behind him. That's just 1 mans opinion tho.
