We decided to retire Protect This House Friday. Just wasn't worth the effort of our two video editors. Great videos, but it just never caught on the way we hoped it would.

Horrible news. I appreciate all the time and effort you and your team put into them.

But, I think everyone on this board would agree that we would love to have these videos back. If there is anyway to continue with the videos it would be very much appreciated to make it happen. I'm not a video editor, but I would love to help out in anyway possible to make it happen.

I agree with what the others have said. Sorry if they didn't get the exposure you were hoping for, but know that those at IE looked forward to them every Friday and they will be missed. So, at least in this little corner of the web they made a big impact. Thank you to you, TP, and everyone else that contributed to them over the years! They were magnificent.

I still watch them over and over, and have shown them at the end of the day to my students during our Friday "pep rallies" before every ND game.

Today we watched the "Louder Than Words" one and the kids absolutely loved it. The videos had an impact far greater than you guys will ever realize.

I usually just lurk here, but this is something worthy of posting for. I'm in total agreement with others as well. These videos were a staple for me. I would anticipate every Friday (and then be disappointed on away weeks) just for the release of these videos. In fact, this is still one of threads that I get all excited about when it pops up on the front page. I'll always remember some of the classics from 2012 like Manti's "who's house is this/there is no place like home" and the one after the Pitt game featuring Golson in The Matrix.

As far as the reach I posted these on my Facebook darn near every Friday and always got tons of likes and shares. That coupled with all the enthusiasm here always had me believing that these videos were well received across the board and were pretty well known by ND fans across the board.

It's a shame if they are truly gone for good, but I'll second others in saying the time and effort was really appreciated.

Same here. And most of my FB friends are tOSU fans and they even thought they were well done.

Tommy was pretty good coming off the bench, but it's hard for a lot of QBs to do that. He endured far too much crap during his time under Center.

Can we get over Malik yet though? Feels like people can't let go of the fact he left, like he was going to start in place of Wimbush or that Ian isn't a suitable backup. I don't think Golson received as much backlash after his departure, and his exit wasn't nearly as classy. Crist certainly didn't get crap when he transferred.
