I'm all for a valid protest, but I have been saying to compare the current 'outrage protesting' to what happened in the 60's over civil rights and vietnam is not a true comparison. I think alot ppl see protesting now and equate it to the protesting that happened in the 60's.

For me MLK marching for civil rights does not equate to the pussy-hat march. On the surface it looks like the same, but the substance is not there.

I oppose probably everything these protesters stand for. I don't burn anything down. Or stop them from going to events. If they want to spread socialist/communist ideals in the classrooms around campus, I don't see a problem with College Republicans groups scheduling Milo to come.

I worked at the NDSU alumni center my senior year, I got stuck working the front desk at a chartiy event for the local abortion clinic. I sat and listened to men and women bash the Catholic Church, our beliefs, and the Pro-Life movement for about three hours. They even cheered while women told their stories about getting abortions. I didn't burn the building down. I didn't protest. I just made a point to remember what those people stood for, and went on with my life.
