Women want romance, but they want verbal consent to every act. They want to be wined and dined but to be completely sober when having sex. They want to be complimented constantly but not objectified.

We can't win.
Wait until you're married.

I'm not sure of the reason of even singing the song with those new lyrics. It's just about an indecisive girl trying to leave and some sackless guy

Yeah the new version is the equivalent of coming home from work and your wife is on the bed in lingerie and you're like "no, we should really go downstairs and watch the next episode of Stranger Things."

This this so close to home....

I love being thrown into the "White" box with the same racist, imperialist bastards that plagued my people for centuries....

A twist on controversial ‘Professor Watchlist’: Notre Dame academics want their names added

My annual donation isn't very big, but it's more and more in jeopardy lately. It's pretty hilarious that there's only one faculty member from MCoB on this list, and her areas of expertise include "Gender and race in the workplace" and "Stereotyping and discrimination."

Only 1 from Economics. And he was one of the old Marxists that got pushed out when Econometrics was created to save the department from academic irrelevancy.

Brings a tear to my eye that my University had the foresight to push out a bunch of professors who were philosophically stale and unable to produce any semblance of research. It's a beaut, Clark!

Welp...I think there are some places and professors who deserve the scrutiny. I think it will take this endeavor a good decade to have enough input to be credible as a tool for kids to select their college. But for now, it certainly provides some visibility such that those using their positions to silence discourse will be exposed.

If telling the truth, or exposing how a professor approaches discourse somehow silences them...I gotta think, in most cases, they lack the decency to have silenced themselves. So, I like this.

There's a watchdog group that keeps a list of university faculty members who preach left-wing social justice and abuse students who hold contrary views. This is a letter of 200 Notre Dame faculty members signing themselves up for that list, basically self-identifying as SJW enforcers in the classroom.

1) Don't see professor whose class I was in on that list.
2) Did ND really approve a "white privilege" seminar? That is really disturbing.

White Privilege Course Prepares for Conference: Scholastic - University of Notre Dame's Student Newspaper since 1987

Notre Dame is offering a one-credit White Privilege Seminar, which will analyze and discuss issues like race, privilege and their perception in society.

White privilege is defined as a systematic cultural reality where whiteness as the norm leads Caucasian men and women to enjoy unearned advantages over minority groups. The concept of white privilege is seen by some as a proxy for class, evasively inclusive of ‘whiteness’ as it disregards salient differences amongst white subpopulations, and discards individual hardships of whites. A portion of this group go as far as to say white privilege does not exist.

Those who contend that white privilege is present in major social institutions believe past subjugation translates to present privilege through 400 years of systematic cruelty. They say that the American dream is not equally realizable when tangible barriers prevent hard work and talent from materializing into success.

The White Privilege Seminar is taught by Iris Outlaw, director of Multicultural Student Programs and Services (MSPS), Ke’Ana Bradley, assistant director of Programming for MSPS and Emmanuel Cannady, assistant director of Outreach Services for the Gender Relations Center. The course information page says, “The six-week preparatory class is designed to educate and train White Privilege Conference delegation participants on the definitions of, historical and current paradigms of and causes and effects of white privilege.”

I honestly didn't know Outlaw was still employed by the University. She's the same idiot that called the firing of Willingham "racist" and is a total buffoon. Not surprising that she'd be teaching a white privilege class and be on a list of terrible professors.

Isn't having a person of color teach a course on White Privilege a bit like having some random White dude teach African American Studies???

I would have walked by that classroom to see who actually elected to take that class and make sure they were never invited to any of my parties.

Or you could have invited them to observe your white privilege and poured beer on their heads

Oh look, more pansy college students want their school to be a safe space.

Bias incidents on both sides have been reported. A student walking near campus was threatened with being lit on fire because she wore a hijab. Other students were accused of being racist for supporting Mr. Trump, according to a campuswide message from Mark Schlissel, the university’s president.

Totally equivalent experiences. Must be tough to be a Trump supporter right now.

You do realize that an awful lot of these "experiences" have been proven to be hoaxes, right? Notice how none... literally none of them (as far as I've seen)... have been caught on video or photograph during the action.

But we have tons of video of Hillary supporters physically assaulting or harassing Trump supporters.

I missed this earlier. Good read, but the actual substance of the long piece doesn't really fit the headline.

Political correctness is not a boogeyman. It's not make believe, either. The term -- like literally every term or classification in human existence -- was absolutely invented and has an origin as discussed in the article... that doesn't mean it's not a very real scourge, as called out pretty accurately by this thread.

The fact that a kid gets an A for this:

But someone almost gets kicked out of school for this: Student facing 50 day suspension for saying 'All Lives Matter' | Fox News

Is the problem we all have with political correctness.
