You know who would be a fun replacement, Aaron Taylor. He's got a great gig but he loves the Xs and Os, you never know.

Would radiate a recruit's livingroom.

TD Tommy Rees had a quick release and didn't hold the ball very long. He also threw it away probably 50 times easy in his career. With that said the line was awesome then and he was the slowest guy for his stature that I have seen. Joe Willy could move faster that TT TR!

BTW, wouldn't want to get in the way of that Oline and the chow table when the dinner bell rings!

BK should hire Ron Prince

He almost came to ND under Charlie. Maybe now is the time.

Is his full time house still in Lake Forest?

I think you offer him the most that's ever been offered an OL Coach and more than the Bears do but I think this isn't about money. It's about his time and the college game has different demands.

Ed Warinner shouldn't be hard to pry out of Minnesota if the bridge isn't burnt from 2012.

Why does anyone think Warinner and BK would work together again?

We didn't even get a natty out of our best OL coach in decades (if he's not at the top).

Really hope we can bring in a great OL coach. Which OLs have routinely been in the running for the Joe Moore award, and who has the highest rated OL players entering the draft over the last 5+ years?

Look at those number and then plot recruiting rankings on the same axis and find the coaches at the top or doing more with less, consistently.

Apparently money determines everything and his current pay is 375k. I bet doubling that would bring him to South Bend.

But I'd rather BK and his analysts find a talented teacher and recruiter.

This is just typical of the recent ND football program. In the year that we'll more than likely put 2 1st rd. draft picks in the NFL, we won't even get to use that as recruiting ammo for the 19' class, because the OL coach leaves. FML.

It should be an attractive job for someone to take. If we offer a lot of money, the roster is so talented that it’ll be tough to pass it up. I saw someone on twitter mention Jeff Quinn as becoming the OL coach, but I know nothing about him

Joe Moore Award Finalists:
2015: Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Stanford
2016: Alabama, Iowa, Ohio State
2017: Alabama, Auburn, Notre Dame

I'm not even happy as a Bears fan. I want HH to stay in South Bend, but I guess that doesn't matter

Jeff Quinn.

Been sitting as an analyst for two years in anticipation of this day.

I'd say it's 1 step forward and 2 back. But with ND it's always 1 step forward, 3 jump way TF back.

Hey Notre Dame, you're not supposed to lose your top coaches to other jobs until you've actually won something as a program.....

Elite programs hold onto their coaches until they either retire or get fired. That our best coaches are getting hired out from under us tells you all you need to know about the state of NDFB.
