The fans didn't permit anything! John L Smith had Drew Stanton trying to run the Option in Hurricane Katrina, and he decided to go with a combination of coordinators that was worse than Teddy Ruxpin and HR Pufnstuf.

In all honesty, I'm in the camp that believes the crowd is not deterred by rainy weather, at least those that aren't in the blue hair category. At most of the rainy games I've been to the 30 and under crowd cheers when the rain comes down, no alcohol required (Although it's helpful). I think people lose a little dignity and get a little louder once they become drenched from head to toe. That's real football weather, my friends.
