Rector is monster. Tied for 4th nationally in sacks. If he's not an upgrade, I'd hate to play against Gustin.

I listened to an SC podcast and they were pondering if Rector isn't Lou Gehrig to Gustin's Wally Pipp. Rector was named an AP mid-season All-American. Helton has said he expects Gustin to be eased back in when healthy so he & Rector will splut time. Rector is also the backup to Rasheem Green. It may just cause Pendergast to change schemes. After all, their base defense is nickel but they know they can't run that vs ND.
