I'll be at Potato Creek State Park if anyone wants to hang out (or murder me in my sleep).

Nice. If you get out on the lake, work the westside basin on the drop offs and the ditches alongside the submerged road bed. Probably my favorite top water lake ever. My Grandpa's Hula-Popper owned that lake.

Dear Wiz,

I'll sit on your face value offer as long as the seat is next to you...

Meet me behind the Grotto at dark.

Signed, Natalia

I wanted Gustin to be Irish so bad, but I also wanted Masina.

Driving up from MDW Saturday morning, really stoked! I’ve done the whole campus thing all day every time I’ve been to a game and want to change it up this year. Can anyone suggest a good bar/dive bar with decent to cheap drinks on gameday (not called the Linebacker), that is within a decent uber distance?

Fiddler's Hearth downtown, but it's better on Friday night than game day itself. Live music and fish and chips.

Evil czech brewery, not cheap but great food and beer. 10 mins from stadium, it has become a must stop for me when in town

This is the biggest Notre Dame - USC game in a decade and the biggest at Notre Dame Stadium since Bush Push.

Maybe, but it doesn't compare to the Bush Push game hype. I'll stand by my comment and will be pleasantly surprised if they come out in green. The biggest question would be do they come out in green to warm up, or wait until they come out of the tunnel for "Here Come the Irish!"?

Just ignore the footsteps rustling the leaves around midnight.

Probably the biggest pop I've ever heard at Notre Dame Stadium.

I still get chills when he breaks that last tackle and then starts tugging on his jersey when he's in the endzone.

Hey guys, first time poster, long time Irish fan. My question is similar to arndtjc's. My buddy and I are driving up from St. Louis for the game this weekend and in year's past we've done the whole all-day campus thing too. We may end up trying to hit up a bar or two, but my question is, are there public tailgates or tailgates hosted by bars that you can buy tickets for? The only ones I can find are busses that come from Chicago, which won't work for us since I'm locked into my South Bend hotel reservation already, or the Shamrock Village, which is $350 per person so out of my price range by a lot.

The other thing we may consider is tailgating at a park n party lot, if anyone has experience with that. I'm just afraid of being the lone people in the parking doing any tailgating.

Your ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Go Irish!! Beat SC!!
