Another year survived of ASB not completely tearing us apart. 1 more to go.

Yes, yes I know he had a good game.

He's a douche bag for not coming here with us. He really could have made a difference. He's just another loser with SC

Get the fuck out of here with that garbage. Dangerous team made it tough. Deal with it.
EAD. They played like shit, Long went limp at times again, and we were bailed by a BS roughing call. It was a shitty win. If you don't like it, put me on ignore.

Salute to the OL, Doerer, Polian, Tony Jones, Cole Kmet, and a couple others. But they need to find a way to fix the passing game, because there is a 0.0% chance we're going to run it down Michigan's throat like that.

We’ve got two weeks to get Young, Lenzy and Jafar acclimated to the offense. It better happen because as you said it’ll be a long night in AA

I didn't think we'd be able to gash the SC line like that either, but we did. Never know. 1000% agreed on the passing game though.

Reference, of course, to Pittman feeding that line to his younger players going into the rivalry tonight.

TJJ - simply awesome game
Bilal - from what I saw, best game I've ever seen from him
Kmet - the guy is better than any of our WRs
OL - great at run blocking, struggled at pass blocking at times, some crucial penalties
Lenzy - need to see more of him
Young - nice returns, but hold onto that ball fella
Doerer - very nice game
Gilman and Hamilton - are studs
Jamir - had some really nice moments
Front 7 - sucked at rush defense

Coaching - great adjustments in the 2Q, sucked at play calling in the 2H

Good Lord I wish we had gotten Stepp and the Egyptian God.

How was the Green Out turnout?

They made The Shirt navy blue. They chose style over boldness. It was cold and few own kelly green colored jackets. Some lady swung a small green towel (that was passsed out) that looked silly. The Green Out was not a factor, imo.

I don’t have any green ND apparel; I have all blue and grey. So I just had a green Irish hat on. When the weather gets bad they stadium turns into a rainbow: green, blue, grey, black, white, etc.. My hopes for the green out weren’t high anyway.

I said it in the USC gameday thread, but you'll never see a true Green Out, or Blue Out, or whatever Out in ND Stadium. There's just too many colors that are synonymous with ND football and the administration doesn't do a good job of getting the word out. If they were smart they would just print on the tickets "Wear Green!" ahead of time, that would be your best shot at getting uniformity. You can bet that the students will do a good job with it, but for the rest of the stadium it's going to be about 75% at best following orders.

I say ditch the green-out and just give everyone a green towel at admission. The only color that really works for an -out is white. Blackouts just get lost, has little effect, same with every other color. However 80,000 waving towels looks awesome no matter the color.

I met Arrow for the first time on Saturday.

Great man.

Terrible fan. Blue Jeans and a White jersey, with a hood over his tiny green hat.

They actually did this, but only for the student section. Come on, ND, shell out the big bucks!

If they ever want true uniformity they need to take it a step further and print out 77,622 shirts of said color.

Next year against Clemson would be a great game to try this out at.

What size does he need. I have a collection in every color especially green. Xl and XXL. Former LB so nothing below those sizes.

At the prices they charge for tickets, they could definitely afford this. Hell, they wouldn't even need to make 77k+ shirts. They could probably make 15k for those that aren't wearing green already, and for those that don't get a shirt "Sorry, we ran out." That would probably be the course they take because $$$.

Totally wrong. We had them and so did most of the people in our section. I saw them being waved in most sections.

I mean I know ND is loaded but 800,000 for shirts for everyone is a big chunk of change for any organization. And 800,000 is being generous at about $10 a shirt.

Night games don't lend themselves as good for the "Green Out" event, especially if the weather is chilly/cold and folks are covered up. Watching on TV, it seems the stadium lighting is such that the stands are not particularly lit up....the upper 2/3 of the stadium are dark and fans hidden/non-distinct in the abyss. Maybe would work for day games, but never seen it go over at night.
