Dunno if I'm gonna spend a 100 dollars to sweat my balls off in the nosebleeds.
It's worth it:

Well, crap, I guess we better just put this one in the loss column right now. Not taking a shot at you, ResLife, it's just that when I read this stuff, I think, what else do you expect a coach to say? And then these sport writers go out and report a coach's or player's cocky assertion like it's hard news. It reminds me of talking to parents, who all insist that their child is wonderful, brilliant, special, and talented. Then you sit in a classroom and wonder where all of these mouth-breathing, glaze-eyed, underachieving dim bulbs came from.
Do any of you AZ IE forum members watch games with the Phoenix Alumni Club at Scottsdale Plaza Resort?
I should be at this game. Waiting to hear back from some ASU alums about the tickets.
Good for him and these kids. With that being said, I can't wait for this to stop being as big of a deal as ESPN makes it. From all of coverage Michael Sam had; I barley learned anything about him as a player. Then highly respected people like Tony Dungy coming under fire for "politically incorrect" statements, it's crap.
On a side note, how do you predict the media would react to a gay Notre Dame player?

Probably the same over-the-top way my friend does whenever I start talking ND: "Obama is pro-choice, but Notre Dame let him speak at commencement. That's not very Catholic."
Well public schools in the state have mostly kids from Indiana, and due to the state's mostly conservative mindset, I'd think more homosexual students would gravitate towards private schools with a more liberal mindset, hence a higher percentage of homosexuals at private schools. No evidence to back it up, just a guess.

I sort of agree. Going to Xavier, there were a lot of gay people there. My caveat is that my roommate was gay, so I met a lot of the gays and lesbians he hung out with.
I would think where a kid goes to school has more to do with the parents opposed to the student...especially at that age.
I was talking about colleges, and just meant I'd be willing to bet there is a higher % of homosexuals at ND than Purdue or IU.
