ND should have no trouble passing the ball. Claypool and Kmet should have a huge day.

BC Oline is as good as any ND has seen all year.

I’d imagine Lea tried to make them very one dimensional.

Thank God NBC is doing a simulcast on NBCSN. I can’t imagine what Flutie is going to be like when we’re playing his Alma mater

Flutie is not good. Tirico is among the best in the business.

I do miss Mayock. His insight is unmatched by anyone on the ND broadcasts as far as I can remember.

I'd love to get McAfee to replace flutie. Think it'd be big league to get younger people to be Notre Dame fans as well.

Tirico ( hall of fame) is the best we've had since Criqui-Flutie has his hands tied-the guy is Boston College but I do think there has been a change in his approach-seems to be respectful and admires Book-Brady Quinn would be awesome especially if nbc let him rip it for Notre Dame. Tirico is a stud.

Supposedly NBC goes out of their way to avoid sycophants in the booth. And while he may not be one in practice, the fact that he's an ND grad alone will probably prevent him from every getting the nod; barring a dynamic shift.

You know who was quite good was Tim Hasselbeck, who did the Duke game. Was explaining Xs and Os in real time, which Flutie, preferring to gush endlessly about the intangibles of the opposing QB, never does. And, for what I assume was his first-ever Notre Dame game, Hasselbeck seemed to know his ND stuff pretty well.
If Mayock is otherwise occupied and it HAS to be a BC guy, I'd offer the ACC Network Doug in a trade for Tim, straight-up. Can that be arranged?

Well, I think Tirico is awesome so I’d be bummed to miss his calls even though Flutie is terrible.

Tirico is very good, but he started belaboring on the scUM game again. Two games have been played since then. Time to move on Mike.
