hate this ... weather games reduce the margins between teams; almost always tend to shrink the advantage of having better athletes.

and how good your run game goes depends a lot on the running style of the runner that's in the game. Even Estime depends upon two vital things: getting from zero to the hole area fast, and making a quick cut off a read. We haven't yet seen he nor Diggs in crap conditions --- maybe they are great mudders and maybe not. The big guys will do all they can, but who will cut better? our backs or their LBs and safeties? All their DLine will have to do (if it's mushy) is stumble about making piles. ... and on the other side, our superior DBacks need not to slip either.

... hate snow football, when my guys are better.

Our guys were better when it was 75 and sunny against Marshall. Our guys were better on a pleasant October night against Stanford.

Moronic comment. Address the football point (well-known) about weather games.

Hopefully the grounds crew has the field cleared and in good condition. I wonder if there will be a slickness to the turf?

What we could see from the gate was cleared all the way to the other end. And the Facebook video shows pretty much the same.

Bad weather is a hindrance to passing teams and benefits the team that can run it well.

ND is generally a good running team, but their passing game is oftentimes bad.

BC has an okay passing attack, but they have one of the worst running games in CFB.

hey guys if the irish women's soccer can go out and not only play but play really well in a win 4-0 at home in 24 degree temps with heavy blowing wind last night in the ncaa 2nd rd wearing shorts then the football team should be just fine today

Per twitter, the entire BC OL was limited in practice this week with an illness. They’re gonna “try” to play.

Might be open season on the QB this afternoon.

I'll believe it when I see it. Jordan scored 63 with the flu/food poisoning.

Didn’t he admit in The Last Dance he was just really hungover. Maybe I’m misremembering

I thought he discussed food poisoning from a pizza. I'm sure he probably had some libations as well.

That brings up an interesting thought, let’s say they’re all really sick who plays o-line for them? Back up d-linemen? Probably cross train them all week leading up to the game?

I too think he said something about pizza. Drinking wouldn't have him down bad like that.
