This thread is hardly out of hand. We just lost to fucking Northwestern- let people vent and ease up on trigger finger.

I sorta want to is so far from actually going to close the thread. Let's not act like I'm some trigger happy guy. Watching NDSean44 and others go into full meltdown mode is just straight embarrassing to read though.

If I see people continually saying nothing but curses or the sort, I'm going to start using the infraction button a lot more.

Cant remember a Notre Dame team looking so different from game 5 to game 10. Injuries and academic sanctions take their toll. Now the creep Pitrino is licking his chops for his piece of the action. Jack Micthell for Groza and Sieman is now the Heisman front runner-man we can make bad teams look great. Maybe the worst loss I have ever seen, I feel bad for the boys - they look worn out.

There is no way losing four in a row to end the year sets us up for a good season next year. Kids need to learn to suck it the fuck up. At this rate we won't even be ranked to start next year and who know what happens in the offseason.

They look more like they've given up on the season after FSU. Couldn't bounce back...we are lucky we beat Navy. L'ville and USC might be Ugly.

You guys need to realize that kickers need to have ultimate focus. When you have a shitty holding situation, how do you expect that to not effect the kicker?

I will assume that everyone that blames Kyle knows very little with regards to concentration.

Nah. Kelly is recruiting way to well and playing way too many young guys right now. Next year.....just wait......really what was the expectations this year? I know this is a bad loss. Do you want a Willingham or Weis back. Nope. Our defensive line was inflicted with a lot of injuries today. Everyone needs to step off the ledge and look at the bigger picture.

This kid may be a good pro kicker, who could kick with the Peanuts character Lucy syndrome holding the ball. It shows how things have changed from game 5 to game 10. Never seen anything like it since I've been pulling for the Irish. They just scored 40 points on Northwestern and lost-digest that for awhile

Problem is that very little discussion is going on. It's just constant, "we suck", "god we are awful", "are we ever going to win another game?", "can we just stop playing football?"...

I understand everyone's frustration, but I would think you could come up with things that are a bit more intelligent.

I didn't say I was going to close the thread, just that I almost want to.

OH. And closing threads that get out of hand is part of what I signed up for so...there's that.

I haven't seen anything out of hand. People venting, sure. Is it out of hand? Absolutely not.

And what is "coming up with things that are a bit more intelligent"? Things that follow board guidelines or your own thoughts and ideologies? Listen kid, sometimes the hardest things to hear are the things that we don't like, but it is viewed as such by others. Grow some thicker skin because I have a sense that you're going to be busy tonight and this coming week. It is a privilege to post on this board yes, but everyone has a voice, no matter how it makes the cart wheelers feel about it. This team is what it is right now and everyone has a side to the story. Let it play out.
