Knowing how Northwestern fans and Pat Fitzgerald hate ND, I have no doubt they've been preparing for this game for years.

That news came out literally one day after Mark said that he wanted to embrace the suspension.

Sucks about the injury.

But good news for us, this is a game we wouldn't have gotten a whole lot of credit for winning, but will be a tough one. Just got a bit easier for our defense.

After FSU, Navy, and ASU, this one had the perfect recipe for a let down game IMO. I'll take all of the help we can get against NW.

Kyle Prater is probably their only playmaker now. Definitely makes things easier for us.

I remember really wanting Kyle Prater. Oh well.

Kyle, meet K. Russell and Jaylon Smith, they'll be next to you for the duration of your time on the field. Get to know them.

The player I most wanted on their roster was Odenigbo. I was positive he was going to be a dominant player and I really thought he was coming to ND. I'm going to look up his stats for the past two years to see if I was correct.

5.5 sacks as a RS frosh isn't too shabby. He wasn't a world beater but we'll have to contend with him for a full game.

I rewatched the NW-SCUM 2013 game on BTN there few weeks ago and took note of how Odenigbo was doing, they would bring him on 3rd downs to rush the passer, he's kinda lanky and very skinny but got very long arms. Kinda like Ishaq was as a frosh but with more impact.

Nice, thanks for that. I haven't seen any of their games so I didn't know how he looked. TBH, he may not fit the defensive profiles we have now or maybe he'd have been an excellent WILL, I think he was projected to play the same position as Ishaq, that tweener DE/OLB position.

Either way, I hope he gets zero against us.

he got injured last year and was out for a game or two...but didn't do anything last year if my memory is correct..

I think he'd be too tall to be a WILL, He's definitely a 4-3 WDE. If he puts on bulk he could be pretty special.

Not sure where this goes, but trying my luck here. I was able to score field level tickets for the game to get my dad to campus for his first visit (quasi celebration for his being clear of prostate cancer!). Anybody know where I can score a parking pass? ND is sold out, but seeing if you guys have any other ideas. Thanks in advance!
