Man their fan base has a lot of confidence for a team that squeaked by a UNC team that also lost their starting QB halfway through the game

Re-read the vile stuff he said, then let it sink in that he ended it by saying we are garbage people......... okay.

If I remember correctly we have encountered this one than once. The Sun Bowl build up and the SS game in 12 (I think it was 12 anyway) their base was just off the rails before both match-ups. They remind me of the old ESPN boards where everyone is trying their damndest to be "Van Smack".

Their whole thing is like "F you for judging us you racist, murderous pedophiles"

Umm, judgmental a**hole say what?

from cane insight https://www.canesinsight.com/thread/typical-nd-fans-racist-taunts-twitter/125621/2

They thought he was the real Edward Sorin! :jump:

I gotta stop going over there, but it is way too funny. Some of their guys seem relatively reasonable, but sooo many think they are the same late 1980's JJ teams.

They are good and I am concerned, but I don't see the 48-10 pounding of a crappy ND team that is overlooking and not respecting them that they see, with their D line completely destroying our O line.

I hope we win and feel we have the ability to do so. If we can do it by a couple to a few scores all the better, but all we need is just 1 more point than them. I don't even think that would hurt us CFP wise because of where they are at in the rankings now.

Look at the replies to the rest of the account's tweets about Miami. They all think he's a real person.

MVG trolling the Miami fanbase. LOL

MVG, could you not.

After looking at the tweet some more, I guess the original tweeter (who was a baseball player at Florida State) was throwing shade at the Miami fan base. I think it is probably someone MVG knows. I don't think it was intended to troll anyone. Who knows.

65,326 is the capacity...that's sad...we are selling out 80,000+ for wake forest

It's not hard to figure out who has the more passionate fanbase in terms of attendance. Notre Dame is second in the country in sell outs and Miami has had one sell out in 2014 and 2016 against FSU. However, the devil's advocate to that is Notre Dame stadium is facing touchdown jesus, is 5 miles from South Bend airport, and is on campus. Miami plays at the Hard Rock Stadium which is arguably the worst located football stadium in North America. That isn't a joke. It's 30 minutes from downtown Miami and the airport without traffic, and 45 minutes from campus. It's in Miami Gardens which doesn't have a single bar worth going to to watch the game if you just wanna tailgate and then watch somewhere. I've ubered up there, tailgated, and ubered back to Brickell in time for the start of the game just to be able to watch at a decent bar. It's a joke. But, overall, yes, Notre Dame has better attendance

Forgive me as I've never been to Miami. How far was the old Orange Bowl location from campus and where was it in regards to the current stadium??

They probably think the Irish already have their eyes on Navy.

Watching that video if he wasn't playing football, I think Adams would be in jail. That straight arm is lethal.

The Orange Bowl was in Little Havana just west of downtown. It was 5ish miles from the campus in Coral Gables, which is a southern suburb of Miami. The Marlins built their new stadium where the Orange Bowl was.

The Hard Rock is in a suburb NORTH of Miami. It's gotta be 20-25 miles away through downtown.

Can't watch at work :(.

Hey do you guys remember that Cane's guy who totally ripped us on youtube before the game in 2012, then did a follow up after to eat crow?

That guys was awesome. Is he still doing those videos? If not can someone post the 2012 one? It was amazing.

Guys, this week is so much more important than I first realized. If the Irish win Saturday, they'll regain the College Football Belt for the first time since 1991:

College Football Belt Seasons

Clemson lost it to Cuse, who lost it to the Hurricanes. With a win over the U, the Irish claim the belt!
