I ran into Manti on campus last year and I felt like a midget...the man is absolutely enormous and intimidating. I'm 6'3" and I just felt tiny compared to the guy. I've been around some big guys including Rey Maualuga and Von Miller...Manti is by far the most intimidating human I've ever seen.

I'm so pumped that we get another year with Manti. The kid epitomizes Notre Dame football. I hope the rest of the team strives for Matni's brand of intensity, attention to detail and accountability.

I look forward to Kona being mentioned a helluva lot more during the season on the D line.

Still waiting for BK to take my advice on the goal line/ Haka package for short yardage:

Manti, Kona, and Utupo in the backfield

Manti scares me.....

Does anyone else bench with that type of equipment, looks harder than a classic bench press

yes it is much harder to use...it focuses more on the tri's but it also emphasizes the inner pec muscles...way different feel than a typical bar

Spot on sir and it also is a great way to strengthen your punch and keeping you hands inside on the chest. Love this exercise!

Front squats! Had flashbacks to my college days.....my quads almost ripped away from my body in protest of that video. They are putting in the necessary work. Hopefully Longo sets that kind of an intensity expectation daily.

Per ISD, Chris Brown and Davonte Neal (along with Russell to a somewhat lesser extent) have been really impressive thus far, and expect both to see the field this year. Shumate has impressed with both his physical abilities and his mental abilities to grasp things quickly. Okwara and Day are going to be good ones. Tuitt is going to dominate this year. Bennett and Lo have both had good summers as well.

Great to hear that Chris is doing well. I've had great expectations for him, but was concerned that his build might not allow for him to make as much of an immediate impact. He's a great athlete so I'm looking forward to seeing him on the field.

As for Bennett and Lo, thank God. I haven't involved myself with a listing of my top 25 players for this season, but any CB that can step it up would be near the "top of my list."

If Chris Brown and Davonte Neal are looking that good, would it be a stretch to assume there's a QB helping them look good? Rhetorical question of course.

Thanks, great to hear.

Shumate being successful is huge w/. Collinsworth out.

Okwara's potential is scary high.

Anything about Justin Ferguson??

^^I've heard he has a huge frame and is still really young so he could easily fill into a DE.

Collinsworth I believe broke his collarbone????

They said Ferg shows potential but is struggling initially with his routes and other technical aspects of the game.
