lovin what Chip Kelly has done so far today.

Isaac Sopoaga- Will Start at NT
Patrick Chung- Will compete for starting SS spot (probably will win)
Fletcher Bradley- Will compete for and most likely win one of the 2 open corner spots
Jason Phillips- Backup MLB
James Casey- Will see significant playing time along with Celek at TE.

I like the enthusiasm for your team, fella, but keep it in your pants there-- all those additions, coupled with their losses, still make the Eagles out to be the 4th most talented team...in their division. Players among the likes of James Casey and Jason Phillips still isn't going to turn this team, or any team, into a contender.

No way Manti leaves the first round

Ravens have last pick, just lost Kreuger, Ellerbe and Lewis at LB

EDIT: I think he'll been gone before then though, heard he won't get past Cincy

I could only wish the Bengals would finally take one of my favorite college athletes. They had Ndukwe for a few seasons, and he was starting to turn into a really good NFL safety, but then he ran into some bad luck with nagging injuries.

I basically agree, but football teams are built more on these types of signings than any other sport. No "game changers," but only QBs can be that. These are quality pickups. Casey, for instance, is a very versatile player who was horribly underutilized in Houston, while Chung is an Oregon product and has been a starting safety in the league and has seemed to be on the cusp of stardom at times. These aren't sexy moves, but they help a new coach put his program in place on the field (Casey) and off (Chung), and they do it relatively cheaply. They also addressed several needs on the defensive side of the ball. I'm not a Philly fan and I'm not in awe of their Day 1 haul by any means, but I can understand their fans being happy with them.

Tannehill has a gun.

Yes, and so does his wife.

I would describe his wife but it would be inappropriate and all you old farts would say how this young generation is going down the toilet.

Why not let a pic do the talking... small guns, but very cute.

I couldn't be more excited about Martellus Bennett all world talent. Going to be so nice not seeing Kellen Davis running around like an idiot out there.

I love what the Bears have done so far, addressing two positions of dire need with pretty solid players.

I haven't been following closely yet, but how does this affect their draft priorities? I'm thinking OL, LB, WR, DB are areas that still need to be addressed.

Sounds like Ray Lewis already has a job at ESPN

“@AdamSchefter: A warm welcome to the greatest defensive player I watched play, @Raylewis. Going to be a great teammate.”

He’ll specifically be around ESPN on Monday nights during football season. Lewis, per ESPN, will join the on-site desk, with Stuart Scott, Steve Young, and Trent Dilfer.

Lewis also will contribute once per week to ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning, and Lewis will “have the opportunity to host specials similar to Jon Gruden’s QB Camp series.”

The motorcycle wreck Jay Williams? Not the chauffeur murderer or White Chocolate?

Trent and Steve are my 2 favorites on espn for NFL analysis. Most of the others they have on board tend to be just loud and obnoxious. Ray Lewis will fall into the loud and/or obnoxious camp. Plus, he and stu scott will probably just get into battles of who can have the biggest tie knot.

Ravens released Bernard Pollard

“@ProFootballTalk: League source on Bernard Pollard: "Three teams in how many years. Soon four. What does that tell you?"”

I pray that Pittsburgh resigns Keenan Lewis. Played extremely well at cornerback last year and is still very young

As a LIONS fan, I love this. Many are skeptical, but I think he fits perfectly.

I can only look at this through fantasy football. Is he someone that I would pursue as my 3rd, maybe even my second running back? He played really well his last two years in Miami. But yeah, I would be happy with this if I was a Lions fan too

Bush has HUGE fantasy upside for next year. In PPR he could be a #1 player if all goes right.

Dolphins didn't use him right. Swapping him in and out with Daniel Thomas was stupid (sorry to any Dolphins fans). With two big backs in Leshoure and Joique Bell, Reggie will come in nicely as a good speed back. Will also get out in the flats, and IMO Stafford >>>>>>>>>>>>> Tannehill. With Calvin as a big threat, plus Broyles coming back healthy, I think he will be great here.
