They were wrapping up every single time.

Every time I expected a SC player to break free, he was immediately on the ground

Wow. The fire they played with was crazy. Just about every player wanted to impose their will on fUSC. There was an end around for Stepherson that Jones Jr straight blasted his block into two other players that gave KJ an extra 4-5 yards. D Hayes sack he put the tackle on roller skates and came under for the sack.

They need to carry this physicality to the next week and not let down or NCSt will shock you.

A ton. The initial reports are phenomenal but need to let that buzz wear off. If the buzz continues ND may pull some big time guys. Both 2018 and 2019 guys.

Wimbush looked better than the passing numbers indicated. A couple bad drops. The short and sideline routes, he was on time and ripping it. He was still late down the field, but improvement is being made. Also, Alize should of caught that ball. Was a dime

Someone asked BK about BW as a developing QB and about how he impacts the game. The questioner specifically asked about how BW kept multiple USC defenders on the edge during a RPO play which ultimately led to some big run plays which in turn gives 1 on 1 on WR's making BW's reads easier.

BK said they self scouted BW last week and realized just how EFFECTIVE a player he is. As good as Darnold is.... he is not Effective. BW's pass stats arent what WE as fans would like but BK understands what having a Runner like BW does to defenses. His effectiveveness as a QB opens up much of what we are doing. It was a very powerful statement IMO.

Crazy stat: Notre Dame outrushed fUSC 377-76 but fUSC had a Time of Possession advantage of 31:36-28:24. Not sure thats ever happened

I was at the game and USC looked like they didn't want to be there. They had no fire or emotion. What's nice this year is this team opposes their will on the opponent. Watching the late night game when I got home and Jesse Palmer at halftime said there isn't a more physical team in college football then Notre Dame. Man it feels good to finally hear that.

Tirico gave Flutie numerous questions about Notre Dame trying to get him to say something positive and for most of them, Flutie wouldn't. Tirico then would just say the positive thing he was pushing Doug towards revealing. For the Adams question, Flutie eventually gave in and admitted he should be a Heisman candidate.

I couldn't be happier seeing a strong defense that pushes the line, doesn't hesitate and goes after the ball! Having Stepherson back appears to be huge. Coney stepped the f*** up! I love the aggressiveness and teamwork of the o-line. Adams and co. are legit.

This game is right up there with the last Michigan blowout! I can't wait to be in the stadium next Saturday!

In my heart I knew this team had this in them. I called a 20+ victory in the eduction thread. Noted imposing our will and pounding the rock and no turnovers. I was surprised at Kelly was not working the clock like he did in 2012 but I guess he can't help it if his offense kept scoring in 2-3 minutes. Lee Corso predicted 7 wins for ND. Next week he will be right as we get #7. That old bumbling fart needs to retire. He was schitt as a coach and jealous of ND and their his success during his years as a coach. He is now just a joke and mascot for College game day. He should make his pick in the beginning of the broadcast and keep the giant head on.

Absolutely!

I love how the lateral runs are slowly being phased out other than a few end arounds to keep the outside of the defense honest.

Most defenses today are built to stop spreads and air raid passing attacks. They're small and fast and can't stop a properly used offensive line that's as big and talented as ours. Smash mouth isn't just playing to our recruiting strengths, it's ahead of the curve where football might eventually revert back to.

I think for me, this is my favorite win since fsu '93. They've had good wins and beaten some highly ranked teams since then, even highly ranked rivals (usc '95). I mean, pasting michigan in '14 was so. fucking. sweet.

But, fsu '93 was really special. Hard game, #1 vs #2, everything to play for, and the Irish won. It was great. Those games in '93 and '94, plus the fallout from the '93 BC game, are what formed my eternal hatred for the noles.

But, last night was something else. There was a ton at stake, both teams were highly ranked, and then they just destroyed usc. ND was excellent on both sides of the ball, pounded the shit out of them physically, and won by the series' biggest margin in like 50 years (especially when the line was like ND -4, lulz). This was amazing. This was fun. This was one of my favorite games ND ever.

IMO, this would be a dream game. I did not think Georgia had a good game against us and I think we came up big time short against them. Chubb and Michel were virtual non-factors and we had the benefit of a new Georgia QB. That being said, I am confident Adams and Dexter are better and more productive and our Defense is highly under-rated. We know they (The Irish) are awesome but the CFB world needs to see it. Cheers!

Another new thing we are doing with the Jumbotron is airing the pregame prayer. The entire stadium stood up and it was chilling. It’s a new tradition that is completely unique to Notre Dame and made it clear to every man, woman and child... that you’re watching a game in Our Lady’s stadium.

Any thoughts on the flea flicker?

Personally I have no problem with it, although I was very surprised to see BK or Long try that in the 4Q up big. I can see SC fans whining about BK pouring it on... but just being in position to pour it on is so new to me that I dont know how to react.
