Brey/ND is getting some very, very good recruits of late....and is in on lot of top 2018 and 19 kids as well.
been going head to head and winning some tvery ough recruiting wars vs the ncaa hoop elites.
3 sg's in one class? Where the bigs?
I look at it like people are the most important thing to me, and all of the people at Notre Dame are top notch people. Also the academics are as good as it gets. Definitely the basketball program is one of the best. They went to back to back Elite Eight's, and just have had a lot of success
For someone who watches the tournament and that's it, and doesn't know anything about these 3, can someone explain why Brey/these kids would sign up in a class with what on paper looks like 3 very talented SG's?
Is one a true PG, but listed as a SG? Is one a SF in a way?
All 3 are guards.
Kind of like how Jackson, Grant, and Vasturia took us wire-to-wire with Kentucky.
Problems?
Hubbs is more of a 1, Goodwin and Carmody both will play 2 or 3. With Carmody more likely at the 3 if all three were on the court at the same time. Brey likes his smaller lineups so I think this is likely. Remember we are talking about 17-18 year old kids still so someone could hit a 2nd growth spurt or could still be growing.

So it sounds like this might look weird on paper, but work out perfectly. Good to hear Hubb can play PG. Having a good PG in college is underrated.
If Brey lands a top 100 C/PF cycle this year, I might quit watching football for a few years and hone in on the bball team. At least Brey is fun to root for, unlike Kelly.

You cannot imagine Nicklaus not going to Ohio State because it's unimaginable. He is from Upper Arlington, which bumps right up against main campus. It's the most Buckeye neighborhood in the state, which means it's the most Buckeye place on earth.

He already has in Durham. It's whether they will get more.
I found it kind of humorous that this article was posted to Elevenwarriors just hours before Goodwin committed. It makes stealing Goodwin from pOSU even sweeter given where he is from.
There is No Lower Arlington | Eleven Warriors
Somebody said "I assumed Holtmann would start dominating recruiting like Urban"...um, why would you assume that? There is no evidence that Holtmann is a once-in-a-generation type coach.
As for ND not being better than OSU in BB (another theme) that might be true over the histories of the program. It clearly isn't true right now, though.
