Gkirish definitely gave me the Nickname. I remembered because it started when he dared me to change my avatar to "the koon" from South Park.

I disagree, I'm about 95% sure. Let Koon answer that and if he says you I will take my ball and go home. But I'm pretty sure I did because I had no idea how to pronounce his handle and I just broke it down to Koon. Him and I use to go at it so I'm almost positive I did. Like I did with NDinLA =)

Ah, the "speed" ladder. One of the biggest wastes of time spent in the gym. Does absolutely nothing to develop speed, reactivity, or force application. The kids love using these things though. Not picking on you Domer, I just can't stand these things.

I thought it was all about developing footwork. Not really sure. Guess it would depend how coordinated you were to begin with I suppose.

Damn, could have swore I did. GKirish great call brotha! One of the best nicknames on this site. But part of me believes I was the first to call him Koon

Kieth Arnold just posted an article on twitter saying Longo is out as strength coach and has been moved to another position.

Buddy Morris (not happening), James Smith, Erik Korem, and Cal Dietz from Minnesota. I would definitely give Cal a call, guy is brilliant.

Why would Denbrock not be safe? BK that pissed about the WR's slow development?

Or perhaps Kendall Briles might actually be a thing?

I'm in the minority, but yes please..

Would have to pony up a bit, I know Auburn is hard after him since they got Stidham

What are your reasons for Briles over Denbrock?

I don't dislike CD, I'm just a big fan of briles offenses. He's been the brains of the whole deal In Baylor. Not his POS father. If we weren't going to send BK packing, I was with the guys who wanted a lot of turnover. He's got a ton of energy. Which we need. This isn't a knock on CD, which I think we would be fine with him as the OC, if that's the route BK goes, but no one can knock Briles history with QBs and offense. And we certainly need a QB coach. He can do both, like Sanford

I mean if possible I would try to keep Denbrock and bring in Briles. Denbrock has done a good job with the WR's and is an ace recruiter.

My only knock on the Briles offense is the fact the WR's don't have to run routes. There is zero route tree in that system.

I do love the tempo, amount of called runs and simplicity that is so difficult to defend.

agreed it's not happening, but could you imagine if James and Buddy came to south bend? Holy hell. I'm with you on Cal. He is a viable candidate and a brilliant mind.

Lucky, who do you think could come in and do a great job, I have absolutely no clue in the who's who world of S&C......

I'm guessing Flint is going to get a real strong look...I works guess 50/50 he gets it...IMO........ Can't believe this denbrock talk.... If anyone is safe it should be him... Not to mention our best recruiter.... This would be seismic and not one I like at all.... Disappointed

Loved speed ladders in high school. Very rewarding for the ego when you do it faster than the fat kids.

What about the strength coach from Iowa?

They got pushed around by an FCS school. No thanks.

agreed. Certainly want to keep Denbrock

people think that Baylor just wanted to throw it 100 times a game, that definitely was not the case. Great balance and power run game. Valid point on the receivers and lack of routes.

Huh? Art Briles is definitely the brains behind the Baylor offense. He's one of the long-standing spread godfathers over the past couple decades.

Kendal is 34 and was just a WR coach during the RG3 era. He has 2 years experience as an OC and the offense bombed (#51 S&P+ in 2016) without dad around this year.

Speaking of that FCS school, I'd be down for Jim Kramer from North Dakota State.
