Still keep the 4 man front of Lynch, Tuitt, Nix and EJ backed up by Chase, Kona, Hafis and Cwynar.. I beleive the 4 man front worked against Army and could be a better set than last years 3-4 at the Meadowlands.

Employ Slaughter in the same way we did against AF, if possible.

And OUTSCORE these damn sub-par athletes!!

Atleast this injury almost guarantees that he'll come back for a 5th instead of entering the draft. No player wants to end a career like that unless he has too.

Yes, just watched the game again (unfortunately) and Lynch was held nearly every play I could see him. He's jumping when Barkley is throwing the ball and the OT is obviously holding him, I don't think USC got one holding call ALL game. PAC-12 refs, SMH.

Agree'd ... I was at the game and hollered holding at my wife on every play Lynch was envolved in. There was one play where the OT might as well have pulled his jersey up over his head hockey style.

Does anyone know if the walked the field after the game and picked up all those Pac 12 dollar bills up that were falling out of the official's pockets?!?

With that said, can't pin it all on the officiating. Our D played soft and USC took it to us. I was impressed though with the fight in our team ... they had an off night but never quit trying to rally (well until the fumbled lateral).

The USC game made it horrifyingly clear how much our early season dominance against the run was due to EJ and KLM. Add EJ's absence to some poor play by Cwynar and it's not surprising that SC was able to run on us at will.

We're bound for the Champs Sports Bowl with any record between 9-3 or 7-5, so maybe it's for the best that Lynch and Tuitt will be getting major reps here.
